The appartment is located directly in front of the underground station Piusstr. Therefore you can get to anywhere in Cologne within a few minutes easily. But it is also just a short walking distance to Colognes shopping area, the Rhine river and other famous sights.
Nevertheless, our quarter (Ehrenfeld) has a lot to offer as well. The street is full with little cafes, all kinds of different restaurants and cute little shops in smaller streets. At night the streets in this quarter are as busy as during daytime. The most famous clubs sand bars are within walking distance.
The appartment is freshly renovated, has bright roooms and a roof terrace. It is about 90qm big. Robert (my boyfriend) and I live here since July 2012 and both started to work in a new job. Since we are both busy working during the week, you basically have the flat for youself. You will have your own private room (20qm). The kitchen is fully equipped and you are more than welcome to use all of it. The bathroom has a tub and a seperate room for the toilet. Furthermore, the flat has two more rooms where we are sleeping and working.
If you want you can use our wi-fi to check some things online while you are here. If you are comming with more than two people, the third person will have to pay 10€ extra. The cleaning costs are 10€.
We would love to meet you here in the appartment. Just let us know how long you want to stay.
Please note, that we do not want anybody smokiing in the flat.
Our guests are welcome to use our kitchen, bathroom or to sit on our lovely balcony.
Interaction with Guests
My boyfriend Robert and I are staying in the apartment too. We are both working but enjoy having a chat if our guests have the time to do so. Sometimes we invite our guests for dinner or go out and have a drink with them. It always depends on time and the contact our guests wish to have with us too. We are open minded people and welcome everybody in our flat.
The quarter is full of live. There are lots of bars, restaurants and cafes, cute little stores, full of creative and young, international and typical Cologne people. I just love the atmosphere in this quarter and how people, being so different, live and enjoy life together here.
The are two metro stations just in front of the house. Line 3 and 4 leave into town and also run directly to the fair (Köln Messe). There are two main regional train stations close by fron which ones its easy to go to Bonn or visit Aachen. There are also bikes hire places near by. You can rent a bike and visit the city touring. The cathedral is only 10 minutes away by bike.
