  • My husband and I stayed at Beth's lovely apartment in August 2013 for a long weekend in SF -- it was fantastic. It's in a very modern and safe building (we loved the 24-hr front desk concierge) and the location has easy access to public transportation, shopping, & restaurants. The apartment is very comfortably furnished, with a nice kitchen, well-equipped bath, and terrific views of the neighborhood. Beth was a wonderful, kind host and provided us we everything we needed for our stay -- she was very communicative, left us an nice welcome note, and sent ample information in advance about arrival, the features of the apartment/building, and useful hints about the area & SF generally. Highly recommended - we'd love to stay here again if we're ever in the area!

  • This was our first time using AirBNB and Beth made quite an impression on us! She was quick to respond and answered all our questions regarding her apt and the surrounding areas, parking, public transportation etc. She has detailed check in/out instructions as well as helpful information (restaurants, things to do, parking, grocery stores, which areas to avoid, etc) that she emails to you prior to your trip.

We were so grateful that we found her place last minute. We also got lucky and found permit/meter free parking directly in front of her building but there is a parking garage right next door ($15-$20/day) should someone be not so lucky. The lobby looks like a 4 star hotel and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The 24 hour concierge really made us feel safe and welcome. It sure beats staying at an overly priced hotel in the city! There is a bus stop right across the street so getting around was a piece of cake given that you know the general direction you're heading. There is also a grocery store around the corner. Everything really is walking distance.

Once inside her apartment, we found a welcome note along with a few welcome items. Her apt is clean, spacious and looks EXACTLY (if not better) like the pictures! The kitchen was roomy and updated with nice marble counter tops and appliances. The bathroom was just as big as her kitchen! Beth had clean sheets, towels and higher end hotel-like amenities in her bathroom which was a nice touch. We also loved the washer and dryer being in her apartment. One thing though, there aren't any curtains in her bedroom, which we didn't mind because it helped us get up early (7-8am) so that we had more time to experience the city. We loved the natural light that lit her whole apartment.

Thank you again Beth for being such a wonderful host and opening up your home to us! Next time we're in the bay we'll definitely look you up again! We highly recommend Beth and her apartment!

  • The place is gorgeous (better than the pictures)! Highly recommend! There was plenty of space, and great facilities. My 2 female friends and I felt particularly safe because there were people at the door monitoring who comes in and out. These people made us feel particularly welcome, and helped us with anything we needed.

Elizabeth was also incredibly helpful and kind during our stay. She made sure we had everything we need (clean towels, soap, etc.) She even sent us an email with local events in the area, which we found helpful.

  • Beth was a great host! Her apartment was lovely, SF gorgeous!!! Will definitively come back to SF and I would also stay at her place again! Beth was always nice and helpful with questions, although she was abroad in Europe during our stay. But we never had to wait long for getting an answer.
She left us great information about SF, the neighbourhood and her apartment.
People at the front desk of the apartment were also very friendly and helpful! The location of the apartment was very convenient for us. Right next to the apartment was the safeway were you can get everything! Starbucks, Panda express (which we loved), subway and other restos are also very close-just walking distance.
Parking was not that easy...but maybe we just got a bad day/time?! We just had a car on our last day in SF. Anyway, I do not recommend to have a car during your stay in SF, not neccessary, you can reach everything by public transport. Just get yourself informed about the public transport system and you will get around very easily.
The apartment itself was very comfortable, clean and enough space for 2 people + your stuff (we had 2 big luggage and 2 additional bags).
The kitchen was fully equipped, lot's of "nice to have" things, such as spices, ketchup, good knife for bread, coffee maker, dishwasher...
Nice dining table with great view of SF, where we enjoyed sitting for breakfast.
The bed was clean and very comfortable. Athough I was not sure first if the linen was too thin for me (I freeze very fast), I was ok with it. There is no shade at the apartment windows, so you can get up in time without alarm clock :-) for us not a problem, as we always got out in the early morning.
If you want to open the windows in the bedroom you have to push them a little, in the dining-room you can slide them.
The bathroom was nice (granite) as well, clean and spacious. You can hang up your towels and cosmetic bag, enough space to place your bath stuff. Hairdryer available, which I found great! Beth also left some bath utensils for us to use, which was great, too. Very nice of her.
The apartment had a washing machine and dryer which we could have used. Indeed we wanted to, but unfortunately we did not know how to use it ;-) I guess for american or canadian guests it is no problem, but if you are from Germany or another country, maybe you'd better ask Beth how to use them, if you intend to wash there :-) I did not want to break it so I did not use it.
Finally, I'd like to say: the best stay we had during our trip in California...and Beth, hope you allow to say that: we really felt like friends of yours :-)
Many thanks and all the best!

  • I spent two nights in this flat and it was great. My daughter came to fetch me and was impressed by the view and so was I. It's a great location and a cool apartment. I especially loved the concierge. She was lovely. And it was fun to see people with bicycles or their pets going up in the elevator with me. Very hip! I recommend this as an alternative to the Intercontinental. Lovely!!

  • Oh my! What a perfectly located apartment at the best price we found in the city. San Francisco is not the easiest place to find a good apartment for my little growing family, under $200 per night. We were easily able to walk from the apartment to the Fillmore, the Mission, Inner Richmond and downtown.
The apartment and building itself is gorgeous. The receptionist at the desk was super sweet and the apartment was cozy and very modern. We felt right at home and happy to explore a new part of the city with so much music happening right at our feet.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful apartment in San Francisco.
