The Space

Welcome to New York, Big City of Dreams!

- "Big City of Dreams, LES"
If your dates don't seem to be available I might be able to take you anyway. Just ask! I have two rooms available so it may look like the time is not available when it is.

I am renting one private room with a real bed, two windows and access to the kitchen, full bath and dining room in a two bedroom apartment. You will be sharing the apartment with me or another Airbnber if I am out of town.

You can walk to great restaurants, bars, grocery stores, laundry and transit. Check out Zum Schnider, and Arcane!

Grocery is 1 block away, laundry across the street, the M9 Bus stops 1/2 a block away. M20, M8 and the 14D buses also stop nearby. F, D, M, Z, J, 6, N, R and L trains are within walking distance of the apartment.

This is greatest neighborhood in the greatest city on earth, New York, New York..."so nice they named it twice."

This is an owner occupied apartment and building!

Also, if you have dates that overlap, just ask, we might be able to take you anyway. I have more than one room!!!!

We will consider couples for an extra charge. :)

There is a cash key deposit $100.00 that is taken upon arrival. It is returned to you when you return the keys to me. I do this because my keys are security keys and they are very, very hard and expensive to replace. :)

Thanks!

Stephanie

  • Stephanie's place was great - solid room, comfortable bed, great neighborhood and low floor walkup. Stephanie was also very flexible on my late arrival into NYC and was great on communicating with me. She's also super-funny / classic New Yorker. Highly recommend her place.

  • I had a great stay at Stephanie's place. The apartment was very clean and
nicely decorated, and the bed very comfy. Her place is located in a nice
neighborhood, with lots of good bars places to eat and well connected to
NY's main spots. Stephanie was a fantastic host!. She replied very quickly
to all my emails, was flexible with my check-in and out times, offered to
help me carry up my suitcase and gave me very good tips. In sum, I would
stay here again and will recommend this place to my friends.

  • Really really wonderful host - Stephanie is the best anybody could ever ask for for a visit to NYC. She's extremely helpful, will tell you about the best spots of the area, and shall make you feel right at home.

The apartment is lovely, very quiet, clean, and is at a convenient distance to local transportation. All in all, excellent visit - will recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.

  • Stephanie was a great host, the apartment is great, beautifully decorated and the room is very convenient. Although the location is a bit far from the closest subway station, there is a city bike station just across the street from the building.

  • Stephanie was great! Very friendly, easy to work with. She was very helpful with many things and had great local knowledge. The apartment is in a amazing part of New York with buses running right outside and subway stations about a 10 minute walk away. I will miss the east village. During my stay I lived with both Stephanie and also with other airbnb guests.Stephanie went out of her way to find me nice guests to share the apartment with. Bob who also helps out was also great and even helped me with my bags when I left. I would definitely recommend to friends.

  • I loved being Stephanie's roommate! She's the best roommate I've ever had and she was always giving me advice about everything... well, love mostly... Thanks Stephanie and Amber... You're both a yes!

  • Stephanie is just the best and she made me feel like her BFF and she was always a YES! Her apartment is very cute and she lets me have coffee and milk and leftovers.

I like the whole apartment and building and I wish I lived here forever! I love the neighborhood in all senses... I love taking buses and the bus situation is ideal in the coordinates of Stephanie's apartment. I love citibike too and there's a citibike station right in front of our building. Her cute little dog Susan Amber is so nice and has a lot of personality, but her whole world is filled with melancholy when Stephanie leaves, so she just lays on the sofa and waits while thinking about dog things.
I loved her apartment so much that I re booked it until it was impossible to book more! I'll miss you Stephanie... see you in New Orleans or Chattanooga or Atlanta... I forgot, hahaha!
    Best Wishes,
    Vi

PS: don't stop believing, and (email hidden)2: thanks for all the love advice and for bearing with my "Boyz II Men vs Mariah Carey" love stories!

  • I had a great stay at Stephanie's place. A small tidy room, comfy bed, great storage and a rather large bathroom with super water pressure for NYC. It's east village so can be noisy-ish at night but nowhere near an issue with earplugs or if you're a regular sleeper. I hear everything so I'm not the best judge. Stephanie's personable, kind, really easy to share time and space with. The location is functional both on foot and via transit- a 10 minute walk to the train. I'd recommend Steph's place for a low key, no frills visit where you can feel like a local and at one with the city. I was barely there but when I was I felt at home. And her wonderful pup Susan Amber, is the best!
