We had a wonderful stay at Roys place. He was alaways friendly and easy going.
It took us round about 15 min to city center and 25 min to Dublin Airport.
Bedroom and bathroom were perfectly clean.
We stayed 6 days there and would go back at any time.
While we didn't personally stay here, we purchased it as a gift for a son who was traveling overseas with his girlfriend on their own for the first time. Needless to say, we felt confident corresponding with the host. He was extremely helpful, accommodating with luggage if arriving earlier than check-in time and great communicator. The kids really loved their stay and wished they got to stay longer but they had to continue on their journey. The host, Roy Carolan, was on top of it. He knew before we did that the flight was delayed and sent an email so we can let the guests know their room would be ready. The guests are somewhere on their road trip and unable share directly their own personal experiences but when they said they "wished they could have stayed longer" said it all. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone needing the same accommodation. Thank you again Roy Carolan and best wishes for all the success on Airbnb.
We sent 2 nights in this hostel and enjoyed it a lot.
Very nice place for visiting Dublin. It was quiet, clean and well located. We've been welcome by Roy who has been very nice and helpful.
We recommend it.
Roy and Trish are two of the nicest people you will meet in Ireland! From my very first day I was tired and a bit frustrated from travelling with an infant. Trish saw me in quickly and showed me everything I needed and let me get some rest. The next day she and Roy came by to make sure that I was okay and gave some fantastic ideas of where I could go for fun or to get whatever I needed. They are both very warm, helpful and willing to offer any information needed. My stay was for a month and throughout the time I received great attention when I wanted it and peace and quiet when it was needed. The place is very convenient as it close to the airport and city center by bus. There are also a number of stores on the main road that were very good for getting all the other necessities without having to go to far. Even the walk to the coast was a nice 20 minutes walk away (if you don't mind walking in the damp Irish weather). In all I enjoyed my time and would recommend this place to travelers to the area. With Roy and Trish you are more than visitors you are friends :)
Roy and his mom were very accommodating. The room was a bit cold, but perfectly adequate.
I stayed at Dublin Inclusive twice and had a great experience. Roy and Trish were so friendly and the accommodations were perfect for me. I was traveling on a budget and was able to buy food at the Tesco nearby and use the kitchenette. Roy was also very helpful with giving me information on the public buses to both the conference I was attending and the airport. Trish was so pleasant and I loved talking to her. The house is lovely and highly recommended.
Had already spent a week in Portugal before arriving by myself in Dublin. Delayed due to general strike in Portugal, but with excellent directions on how to find the accomodations, I had no problem. I received a wonderful welcome from Trish, who shares the running of the hoste with her son Roy. She explained all the keys, each of the amenities in the common kitchen and the room and private bath.
I arrived late, and was looking forward to coffee in the morning, but I use milk. Trish generously provided me with her own milk container so I could enjoy my coffee. She gave me information and directions to a couple of places to eat, attractions in the area to visit, how to catch the bus into the City Center and various around town places to check out.
I was able to make bus arrangements for tours around Ireland and had two very early and long days. Trish woke me up at 6 a.m. herself eachmorning, as I did not have an alarm clock with me, and did not know how to use my tablet alarm yet. She also checked on me each evening to see how my day went, if I needed anything or wanted more information. She even shared a fabulous chocolate cake she had made, the highlight of my 3rd day. She scheduled a taxi for my second morning, because buses to City Center did not run early enough for the tour I was tsaking. We went out for tea one afternoon and she introduced me to the local cafe owners. Having traveled extensively herself, she anticipated needs that could arise and was able to offer useful suggestions. I even had to borrow a screwdriver to fix the handle on my luggage. No problem. Had a entertaining evening in the back garden with Trish and her American friend Nancy, just talking about life in general.
The Dublin Inclusive was neat, clean,, comfortable and fun. I would recommend to anyone, and also return myself if I make it back in the future. I invited Trish to come to the USA and look me up. Finding reasonably priced accomodations when traveling is a great way to save money.
This trip was my first experience with Airbnb, Portugal and Ireland. Things went so well that I am delighted with everything. Quality accomodations, exceptionally nice people and reminders and help throughout. Thank everyone, especially Trish and Roy.
My stay with Roy and Patricia was lovely! They are very friendly and helpful and I spend a lot of time talking with them!
The place is just few minutes from the bus stop (5minutes) and not far to the city center,I really recommend this BnB.
Thank you so much for everything!
Patricia and Roy are lovely hosts. Patricia fed me dinner one evening and shared some great stories of her life in Ireland and travels abroad. The hostel itself - very near to bus routes and DART. Very very easy to get to and from everything I wanted to see and do in Dublin.
The host was very very kind and took great care of us. She gave excellent directions in regards to local attractions and shops in the city of Dublin. It is always nice to have such a caring host.
