I live upstairs with my 18 and 20 year old children, (who are sometimes away at school) and I am usually not too far away if you need me. Mostly I keep to myself, but I am always available if you need anything.
Restaurants, bars, shopping, grocery stores, ethnic specialty store, busses, beaches, pools, tennis, parks, walking trails, views, access to everything.
My house is a block away from a major bus route that services downtown and UBC. I am a $35 taxi ride from the airport.
There is a full kitchen in the suite, but there is no hood fan over the stove. I request that when you are cooking, you avoid foods with strong cooking doors like bacon and fish. Check in after 2pm. Check out before 11am.
What a wonderful day at the Garden Suite. As soon as I entered into the suite, I was at ease and very calm with the surroundings. It was very clean, comfortable, and I wish that I could have stayed longer as I did not want to leave.
Thank you very much for a well needed stay - hopefully I will be back very soon.
Perfect location in a very beautiful neighborhood, two blocks away from lots of retail resources and public transportation. It's also in the car2go drop-off area, so you can just leave your own vehicle behind or give it a rest. The apartment is very comfortable and generally quiet. Lots of light even though this is a converted basement. The owner was very responsive when we had a problem. Nice backyard with lots of birds, one elusive cat. Interesting art and books in the apartment give it an individual, intriguing flavor. Great as a base to explore all over, but also a good place to spend time writing, reading, having conversations.
We had a great time in Lynn's place-- the apartment is very nice, and it is in a great location- beautiful and safe neighborhood (close to stores, transportation , UBC and downtown).
Lynn was travelling, but she made all the arrangements before hand and we did not have any problems while there. In short, we had a great time and we highly recommend this place :>
The location was very well placed in Vancouver. A one hour walk to downtown and plenty to do a 10 minute walk away in Kitsilano. The walk-out apartment was cosy and had everything that you needed. A definite destination that I will stay at again!
Experience at Lynn's was wonderful. Clean suite with charm. Was nice to have access to laundry with all the hiking and active agenda we were keeping. Full kitchen, although we decided to eat out all meals because so many good restaurants. Plenty of street parking and very close to airport. Would definitely stay here again.
Lynn is very friendly, warm and welcoming...great communication and a comfortable unit....clean with all one needs for a brief or extended stay
Lovely, cozy apartment in a great location! Lynn was easy to communicate with and the place was perfect for my stay in Vancouver.

I'm a mother and a sculptor living in Vancouver, BC. I grew up here and I love the place. I've traveled and lived in other cities and I came back to Vancouver to raise my two children who are now 18 and 21 years old.
Ask me about Monday morning and Sunday evening life drawing classes.
I'm looking forward to hosting travellers and giving them a welcoming place from which to explore this city that I love so much.
