My husband and I stayed at William's place on the Big island for 10 days. Haleakala B&B is beautiful and as pictured and we were promptly greeted by our host, Celeste (William was traveling). Communication was easy and quick prior to and throughout our stay. Celeste, was friendly, attentive, and helpful in answering our questions about the area. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the pool and spa, and on the lanai at night—it was quiet and peaceful with a great view. Also loved the outdoor shower! Additionally, William's B&B is a short drive from beaches, restaraunts, bars, and shopping in Kona. We also drove to Volcano National Park, Hilo, and visited Mauna Kea, which were longer drives, but well worth it. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again soon. If you're looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful, tropical setting, we'd highly recommend William's place.
Some of our favorite local spots near the B&B: Annie's Island Fresh Burgers, Gypsea Gelato, Jackie Rey's Ohana Grill, Holuakoa Cafe, Rebel Kitchen, and Kona Bewing Company. And if you venture over to the Hilo side of the island, stop by Lucy's Taqueria!
William has created a tropical oasis with Haleakala B&B. The property is simply stunning and the view from the back deck even more so.
The Aloha room was suitably sized for a couple and well maintained.
The property hosts magnificent gardens, pool and spa along with communal outdoor lounge and dinning spaces for guests to enjoy.
Be sure to take full advantage of the breakfast vouchers as it gets you out and about to explore the Big Island.
William is undoubtedly the heart beat of Haleakala. His energy and enthusiasm for life radiates throughout the place making for a most enjoyable stay.
Tap into his local knowledge and recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Annie's burgers is a must!
Haleakala B&B is truly heaven on earth.
Haleakala B&B is the most amazing setting overlooking the ocean and has beautiful gardens and swimming pool area! Bill and Patti are exceptional hosts and make you feel right at home, they know all the best places to eat, snorkel and see the island which is invaluable. We were on our honeymoon and couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. The breakfast vouchers are great and Bill lent us snorkelling gear to use which was awesome. It's a beautiful place with warm, friendly hosts you will love your stay here like we did.
Our stay at William's property in Big Island, Hawaii made our trip the best trip so far. Very welcoming host he is, beautiful property with a private pool n spa overlooking the Pacific ocean, very comfortable stay, what else would one need for a gateway like this. A must stay recommended.
This BnB is amazing. The view of the island and the ocean is incredible. The home has a relaxing and calming feel specially because of the style of the home. The rooms were very well kept and clean. William the owner was very nice and inviting. He was also very informative about activities to do while on the island. I will definitely recommend my friends to come and stay here when they visit Kona.
wonderful house and wonderful breakfast！！！william is so nice！I stayed 2 nights，the spa is great after tour，I enjoyed so much！！
This was probably the most amazing b&b we've ever stayed at! The room and surroundings were way above expectations. Our host was warm, helpful, and gracious! We were a little concerned about no in-house breakfast at first, but after using our complimentary gift certificates at the two local restaurants we were once again blown away! Thank you!!!
