Haleakala is situated on the Holualoa mountain side at the perfect elevation. It is the Kama'aina secret, perfect weather, lets you relax and comfortably sleep never too warm or cold.

For your breakfast Haleakala has partnered with two of the best breakfast restaurants in Kona to provide the widest variety of selections that any B&B can offer, come and enjoy our Aloha.

Haleakala's Aloha room is a full Queen Bed Master Suite with in room Bath and private access off the Main Lanai with it's sweeping Ocean Views. It luxuriously appointed on the ground floor. The view is of the Kona Coast above farms of Macadamia Nuts & Coffee and provides a view of the setting sun on the warm Pacific Ocean.

Our second listing, the Kokua Nest, is a separate cottage. It is a full suite with in room shower bath and Lanai. Both provide privacy and separate entrances. Enjoy our outdoor garden shower just steps from your door. Go exploring in Coffee country and Holualoa art galleries then come back to the Nest, rest up and get ready for an evening out on Kona town just minutes from your coffee country B&B.

Haleakala Bed and Breakfast is surrounded by Macadamia Orchards and Coffee groves providing a natural setting for many of Hawaii's birds and game fowl. Don't be surprised to see the rare Hawaiian Hawk, local finches, Turkeys or other game birds. • Great place to relax and enjoy the magnificent view of ocean! Breakfast vouchers are provided for the Holuakoa Gardens and Cafe and Splasher's Grill. We would like to stay at Haleakala B&B again on our next trip to the Big Island.

    April 2014
  • We stayed in the Aloha Room for 6 nights on our visit to the Big Island and enjoyed our time there! The breakfast at Splashers and the Cafe were worth the drive. Bill was a great host and had a lot of great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The sunsets on the deck were beautiful and we saw some whales from there also! We highly recommend and would stay there again if we make it back to Kona.

  • An incredibly beautiful and relaxing property. Everything felt so high end that we couldn't believe they let us pay so little! We loved the restaurant vouchers for breakfast, the Holuakoa Cafe was awesome, we tried to go there for two meals in one day. Bill, the host, was so gracious and fun to talk to. You won't want to leave the lanai! We even saw a mom and calf humpback whale splashing in the ocean below us. Highly, highly recommend.

  • Definitively the perfect place to stay in the Kona area. Wonderful host, always helpful with great tips where to go and what to see.
The B&B itself is simply awesome: incredible view, luxury room & bath room with the bonus of the SPA with the view from above down onto the pacific ocean.

  • First of all, Bill, his wife and the room deserve 6 stars. You would be a complete idiot to stay anywhere else. I had an incredible week there, the room, house, hosts were amazing.

After staying there most of the week, I went to the Hilton for one night for a conference and paid double the price and had a horrible evening, a complete waste of money.

Do yourself a favor, book this room and have an amazing time. You won't regret it. Thanks Bill for a great week.

  • This was our first B&B experience and we were very pleased. William has a very nice house that was built specifically as a B&B. The room was decorated better than a 5 star hotel. Views of the ocean were excellent, and William was very helpfully in suggesting things to do.

  • We stayed here for the first 2 nights of our trip. What a way to start the trip. The view from our pool and hot tub on the lanai adjacent to or room were amazing!!! It was awesome sitting on lounge chairs facing the Pacific Ocean, by candlelight. All of our friends saw the photos and thought we were totally "ballin' LOL. Room was cozy, modern, clean, and beautiful. William was such an excellent host too. We was so interested in giving us detailed advice about what to do and where to go. He also waited for us late at night ( our flight was delayed) and he was still all smiles. Also, we got vouchers for breakfast at an AMAZInG cafe in Holualoa. Go there and make sure you have a sit down meal. Such a beautiful garden setting.

  • Wow!
Breathtaking view over the Kona area.

We spent 16 days on the hawaiian islands and experienced 5 accomodations (even five star hotels) through that time.
But we will remember Williams room the best. It really is worth each Dollar you spend.

We had the most wonderful time - and the idea to get breakfast vouchers is just perfect. It gives you the chance to explore cafés and areas on the island you might haven't been gone to.

We highly recommend it and - who know's - maybe return onw day. Thank you!!

  • We had the most relaxing time at Haleakala B&B. Will was very accomdating, and we couldn't of asked for a more spectacular view of the Pacific and comfy bed! We told our parents to stay here when they visit the Big Island in 2014, and we can't wait to return!
