At the third floor of a new building, this is an openspace fully furnished with the best new design pieces.
It's a multifunctional space, developed on two floors, one kitchen, 4 bathroom, and a space with a sofa bed where two hosts can sleep during their exposition or rental.
This apartment was a good base to explore the Liguria coastline. We stayed 4 nights and had a mixture of good and not so good. We loved the views and the grounds - the gardens were immaculately kept and it's a fantastic spot on the cliff side. The kitchen was old and not very clean. There weren't linens on the bed when we arrived... we eventually found them, but again, they didn't seem too nice. We found the closest town of Rapallo to be just fair compared to the much nicer town of Santa Margherita. One night we were caught trying to return from a traffic nightmare in Rapallo during a festival... the driving was very difficult for me as an American. The only major drawback was a fair amount of noise that lasted until about midnight each night with the sound of the train coming up the canyon, motorbikes, and the church bells going off every half hour. Given the summer season, we had to keep the windows open to keep it cool enough, so the noise was a bit more than we expected.
Simone was very helpful with arranging directions and logistics prior to arriving. We only met Guiseppe who is the caretaker, but he didn't speak much English, so we weren't too sure about some of the instructions.
Overall, we liked the apartment. It's in a truly spectacular location - it has a ton of character, some beautiful furnishings and gorgeous grounds.
Simone was very professional all along the way. The garden (with private pool and amazing view over the Santa Margherita and Portofino bay) is amazing. Inside the apartment the furniture is a bit old but charming.
Everything was as described and the communication before our arrival was good.
It´s a nice, clean place near the Golf Club. we had a large terrace and a view to the golf club and the sea. the Pool is large and in june nobody was there. Near you have a supermarket and a drugstore. you can walk in about 10 min to the beach - wonderful, clean sea and white sand.
last but not least - i like!
The apartment was very lovely, spacious, clean, well equipped and WOW! what a view. I could hardly tear myself away from it. The grounds are also nice with the grassed areas and pool. It was only a 10 min walk into town (a little harder coming home as it's up hill though). Simone was very helpful and responsive to our emails, and as he was not personally in town at the time, had someone else available there to meet us and attend to things are required. The only complaint we had were the hard beds, which is just personal preference more than anything. Good area to base yourself, central to lots of things close by. But also in a nice quiet area away from the crowds which we needed at the end of a 5 week holiday around big cities in Europe. I highly recommend getting the ferry to St. Margurita/Portofino/St. Fruttrosso while there. We didn't try the restaurant that is located in the complex as it only opened the day before we left. A little more tourist info and a manual for general info on the building and apartment would have been helpful.
Good apartment and good location!amazing view at Santa Margherita Ligure!beach is situated 10 minutes from studio. We had good vacation there!Thank you Simone
We had a lovely week in this appartment. Its really nice with a big private swimming pool in front of the appartment and also a small but nice fitness area. The appartment has a nice kitchen and everything you need. Camaiore is close tonthe more touristic places but quite and calm. Perfect if you dont like the really crouwded places. A lot of good restaurants nearby. Simone arranged a suprise for us with some friends from the netherlands, when we arrived. A really polite perosn to rent from and react quickly. I would live to go back another time!
First of all our host was realy helpfull and friendly. He informed us well on the apartments specifics which were realy great. The view was magnificent, the apartment big and comfortable. We were lucky the pool temperature was already doable although early in the season, there were local kids which played with our son. Last but not least, the restaurant below the pool...great food and realy friendly personell.
The vintage style apartment was cozy and had everything we needed for 4 adults, 1 child, and 1 baby. The location was excellent - just a 5 min walk down the hill to the town/shops. The short walk back up the hill and stairs were not a problem, even with a stroller and 2 kids. The garden and views from this apartment were spectacular! Though the pool was not ready for our stay (end of May), Simone was an excellent host and communicator, and did everything he could to help us. Overall, we had a very good experience.
A great spot, a great apartment, well equipped with everything you might need during your stay, a warm welcome – this place excelled all our expectations. A perfect choice.
