When a friend came to visit me, she exclaimed, "This is so CENTRAL! You can't get more central unless you live inside LKF!"
If you read the descriptions below - I'll show you how you can immediately save US$20 from this booking.
Starting 2014 - I will have to enforce an electricity deposit. I will call the electricity department the day you leave and check on the bill for the duration of your stay, and as long as the electricity is not over HK$27 a day (HK$800 a month), I will fully refund the electricity deposit. This is to ensure respect for the apartment and prevent abuse of the appliances particularly air conditioning. Believe me, $800 is very comfortable. It will only go overboard if you leave the apartment with the air conditioner running 24/7. It wouldn't be fair if I am forced to raise the rent in order to cover the loss from wasteful tenants.
3-minute walk from Central MTR station (Mass Transit Railway). Around the corner from LKF. You won't be sharing with anyone except your own group - you have the entire 1-bedroom apartment to yourself.
As long as you don't mind the small shower room (no tub and no stall) and a walk-up building (5th floor with No Elevators), this apartment is perfectly affordable within one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the world.
☆ It's a small shower room but updated with new toilet, new basin, mirror, new faucet and Rain fall shower head. ☆
Location is the vacation.
This apartment is perfect for those who LOVE having the City as their front yard, where everything that you need is just downstairs and across the street. On the fifth (5th) floor of a Chinese style walkup flat (no elevators) - so be prepared!
To say this apartment is "close to everything" won't do it justice. This is A STONE'S THROW AWAY from everything and everywhere you would want or need in Hong Kong.
Perfect for a business-personality, or shared by 2 people, up to 2 couples.
APARTMENT COMES WITH:
★ iPhone/iPod dock
★ Air Conditioners (bedroom and living room)

★ 2 Double beds(140cm x 200cm, bedroom and sofabed in living room - please ask ahead of time so I can prepare the sofa bed for you)

✔ CLEANING FEE ✔
One time cleaning fee of HK$480 (US$60) will be added on top of the set nightly rates - so the longer you stay, the more the cleaning fee will stretch out for you. This fee includes maid service and professional laundry service (towels, bedsheets, pillowcases + every 6 weeks, we send the pillows and blankets to the laundromat). Cleanliness is very important to me personally, and GOOD HELP IS HARD TO COME BY. So please support this finely tuned housekeeping standard.
As a token of my appreciation for your time and effort in figuring out what your hard earned dollar will get you -- please message me with "I'm fine with small Chinese shower room (no tub and no stall) and walk-up building, which means no elevators. Thanks for the towel service." --- and I'll automatically deduct 1/3 of cleaning fee. That's HK$160 (US$20)!! (Note: You will lose this privilege if I have to message you during our conversation and ask you if you're ok with the small Asian-style shower room.) Other than this, please understand set price is non-negotiable unless you plan to stay for over 14 days.
Security Deposit required. AirBnB will authorize your credit card 24 hours prior to check-in. All deposits will be returned within a few days after departure assuming there is no damage to the apartment or its contents.
I know walk-up is not ideal for some people -- but like living in any downtown cities, we downtowners walk a lot. Central to Peak area is very hilly (Peak means the top of the mountain, where Mid-levels is middle of the mountain, and Central is bottom of the mountain), so you'll be walking up and down a lot of stair cases (from Shopping to MTR). It is definitely great exercise.
➠ ➠ ➠ ARRIVAL INTO THE CITY ➠ ➠ ➠
Route 1: AIRPORT EXPRESS
I highly recommend taking the Airport Express (a 25-minute train ride that takes you from Hong Kong International Airport to Central). It is fast, efficient, affordable, and allows return trip luggage check-in (when you leave Hong Kong, you can check-in your luggage at IFC instead of the airport, and most flights store checked-in luggage 24 hours before flight departure).
Route 2: Airport Pick-up/Airport TAXI Van
Please let me know in advance if you would like to have a service car to come and pick you up. I will book one for you. Standard rate for car service is HK$450 (US$58) from Airport to Central. With an additional $400, the driver will carry your luggage up the 5 storeys of staircases. You can pay the driver in cash.
A TOUR AROUND CENTRAL
One of my favorite things to do in Hong Kong is walk around the Central/Soho/LKF area. If I'm in town to receive you, I'll be happy to give you a short 20 to 30 minute walk around Central and recommend coffee shops, restaurants and shops that you might enjoy. Just say the word.
Looking forward to hosting you.
Central is well-known to be the finest neighborhood of Hong Kong. 3-minute brisk walk from Central MTR station (Mass Transit Railway). Around the corner from LKF (club and bar district of Hong Kong). To say this apartment is "close to everything" won't do it justice -- it is A STONE'S THROW AWAY from everything and everywhere you would want or need in Hong Kong. 7-eleven is across the street. Tsui Wah Restaurant (open 24 hours 7 days a week) is 3 doors to your left. Michelin Star restaurant across the street to the left. Coffee shops to the right. Italian restaurant and bar across the street. IFC mall, shops, Soho, Wyndham wine bars, art galleries, City Hall, etc. Many many more. So much more.
Escalator is within view and down the block walking distance. Central station (Blue line and Red line) is 3 minute walk from apartment. Hong Kong station (IFC - Orange line) is 10 minutes walk. Taxi stands in front of Landmark Building. Another taxi stand right in IFC.

Heidi's apartment is clean and nicely decorated. We had a brilliant time staying here. She was helpful and quick responses whenever I needed her help. Good location close to MTR, SOHO, Lan Kwai Fong and Hollywood Road. I had a nice walked from the Wellington St to Sheung Wan and I found that there are many great eatery, restaurants and coffee places.
I would highly recommend this place and would definitely love to stay here again next time I'm in Hong Kong :)
Heidi's apartment was in a perfect location, literally in the heart of Central. It was small but that was expected. The beds were really comfortable and this was overall a very enjoyable stay. Heidi was also super helpful and gave really quick responses whenever we had any questions. Highly recommend staying here!
Overall the accommodation was very comfortable and cosy. The location is very convenient; 3mins walk to LKF, stones throw away from michelin restaurants ( Mak's Noodles and Yat Lok Roast Meat), 5 mins walk to MTR. I have no difficulties locating the apartment
Cons: The toilet is very small
Heidi's apartment was excellent for a week in Hong Kong - conveniently located, surrounded by delicious food and coffee, and the flat itself is very clean. Heidi was very helpful and accommodating throughout our visit. Highly recommended!
I enjoyed two weeks in heidis apartment in hks best spot! Walking distance everthings worth seeing in central. Mtr is about 3-6minutes away. Best about this place is that whenyou drop out of the apartment you literally land in the first bar of lkf.
The apartment itself is clean but very small. If you're not too picked with the bath and able to overcome european standards this place is a great choice.
I will definitly come back to that apartment!
Thanks for your efforts heidi
Fantastic stay! I was working for a month in Central and the apartment could not have been more convenient. Location is key - close to all the great restaurants, bars and clubs. Easy to walk up to Bowen Rd for a quiet, leafy jogging path with fantastic views from the back of Central... must say that was one of my favourite aspects!
The apartment is very clean and Heidi keeps it like that with her maid who came once a week while I was there. Heidi offered to give me a tour and show me around but unfortunately I was too busy most of the time with work, but she is more than accommodating and goes the extra mile to make your stay most pleasant. I always felt I could contact her on her mobile phone and would always receive a timely response. Thanks Heidi!
I will certainly be booking again if I ever need a place in Central HK, no question! Again, thank you for the great stay Heidi and all the best!
vita notturna in Lan Kwai Fong (con centinaia tra bar, pub, ristoranti, discoteche e locali di ogni genere.. il quartiere dove ogni weekend e non solo gente da ogni parte di Hong Kong, Cina e "ovunque" viene a fare festa!);
supermercato "conveniente" (Wellcome) a 100 metri;
escalator (il complesso di scale mobili più lungo del mondo che collega i vari livelli del centro di Hong Kong e attorno alla quale si sviluppa gran parte della "vita" di Central) a meno di 100 metri;
7/11 di fronte al portone;
"La Piola" (rinomato bar/ristorante italiano dove poter mangiare o anche semplicemente fare aperitivo o bere un caffe in buona compagnia e con prodotti davvero italiani) di fronte al portone;
ogni genere di negozio di abbigliamento e accessori dai più lussuosi a più eccessibili (dal Rolex a HM per esempio..) in zona;
fermata MTR (metropolitana) di Central a 150 metri: linea blu(isola) e linea rossa (verso la penisola);
fermata Airport Express a 5 minuti in taxi (circa 3 euro di spesa);
tram (caratteristico ed economico mezzo di trasporto tipico di Hong Kong che collega tutta la parte nord dell'isola) a 200 metri;
palestra "Pure Fitness" (5 piani tra paletra sala pesi; sale aerobica, boxe, spinning; yoga; sauna, bagno turco; area relax; area bar/ristorante ecc..) a 200 metri;
i famosi Soho e Hollywood Road a 50 metri;
ristoranti di ogni nazionalità ovunque attorno all'appartamento nel raggio di 100 metri;
lavanderie a 50/100 metri;
taxi sempre disponibili in zona;
Heidi è stata sempre gentilissima, disponibile e pronta a rispondere a ogni mia necessità o semplice quesito/richiesta di informazioni in tempi brevissimi..
Heidi was extremely helpful and and the apartment was exactly as I expected; beautiful and clean! Heidi was also super attentive and was available for the duration of my stay to help or answer any questions I had! I will definitely stay there again on my next trip!
I stayed at Heidi's place for two weeks this past month - March and it is about location. There's about six levels of stairs, which is well lite at night and enclosed so you won't be getting wet during a rain storm. It is secured and you need a code to get into the building. I felt extremely safe staying by myself right by LKF. It is centralized to the escalators, metro and buses. It is incredibly easy to catch a taxi too. The apartment itself is well furnished and clean. It is exactly what you see in the pictures. The restroom is extremely tiny but it is quite common in Hong Kong. The hot water was a bit of an issue for me since it took a bit of warming up prior to getting it going. Anytime I had ANY issues with the apt, Heidi was withing reach either by phone or she came by within a reasonable time frame. It was fantastic to have that constant contact with her. This place is good for 1-4 max. Anything more would be really cramped unless you just want somewhere to sleep and party all night. I loved her place, location was key and I would stay here again for sure. Thanks Heidi!
Heidi made Hong Kong all that more phenomenal for my friend and I. The accommodations were excellent. The location was awesome (superb access to everything HK has to offer). As a host, Heidi was amazing. She took time out of her busy schedule to tell us about the neighborhood, suggest things to do in Hong Kong, and even get to know us and introduce us her to her friends which made the experience all that more memorable. Would definitely visit again and stay longer if we could!
