Patricia was the perfect host!
I'm only sorry my french wasn't that good... She provided us all the confort and even included some treats and valid information about the city and sorroundings! The house is very well situated and as "a great feel to it". All the details in the decoration makes you feel right at home.
Thank you Patricia.
Patricia and Frederic are great and warm hosts. Thanks them offer us a safe parking space, so that we won't worry about this issue.
The room is small but nicely arranged, we, three-person-family, slept very very well. It was a great experience to stay in such a homely place in Avignon. We are looking forward to visiting the city again!
Merci encore !
The attic room equipped with good Wi-fi and TV was very clean and spacious enough for myself. Patricia and Frederic were very gracious hosts- they picked me up and dropped me off from the train station, gave me privacy and attended to everything I needed. Their lovely home is located in the Old Town, a few minutes easy walk to the main sights, restaurants, grocery, etc. It was an overall delightful stay. I won't hesitate to stay here again for my next visit.
We did not expect to be in the attic room and it doesn't look like this photo. It has a slanted ceiling which was difficult to maneuver in, plus a flight of narrow stairs to the room. Patricia was very hospitable and helpful. Had an app for translating her French into our English. Gave us some good recommendations on places to go. She provided a typical French breakfast every morning with lots of homemade jams! And she took us to the train station on the morning of our departure, which we greatly appreciated.
This is the airbnb photographer who photographed the room, the pictures are all certified by airbnb. It seems to me that you have not read the whole description of this room: a bedroom is an attic room, so recess with a sloping ceiling. I tried to write a more accurate description as possible so that all my visitors find me exactly what I propose, without feeling cheated. I'm really sorry for you, and I liked that you were talking directly to me before leaving. This is also a Foster home in a guest room, talk sincerely, sharing with the host, what bothers you or that you do not understand, such as what you like and you delight in my house as in my company. I have enjoyed your presence, and I am sad that you did not tell me your disappointment about the room.
Patricia is the most nice and helpful host I have ever met in Airbnb. She waited me at train station and drove me home. She always try to talk to me and answer my question although her English is not good. She even helped me to wash my clothes! The room is good enough for two people, Patricia prepared all the things we need in the room, tea, coffee, water, TV that was very nice. She also prepare the breakfast with different homemade organic jams with french bread and different drinks. Nearby the apartment you can buy the food easily and it takes around 15 mins walk to the city centre. I will highly recommended this apartment to you.
