Description

The Space

The Space
My home takes all the top floor of the historic Victorian building in the prestigious neighborhood of Pacific Heights. It was upgraded with lots of storage space and free amenities like fast wifi, cable TV, high end coffee machine, washer and dryer and many other things. It was redesigned by a well know San Francisco interior designer.

It's an amazing deal - you will fall in love with my Pacific Heights home and the unbelievable view or Japan Town, Twin Peaks and South San Francisco. It is very private and sunny. It is such a joy to be able to eat your meals at the dining room table and stare at the lights glowing on the roofs of the Victorian homes in the evening. You can even see Twin Peaks and Japan Town from my balcony. At night, the view is like a living picture – it's a multitude of stars - it's very unique and you'll never forget seeing it. My loft is very modern and beautiful with brand new light colored hard wood floors. It's freshly painted and fully furnished with Ligne Roset furniture, and gorgeous, original artwork.

Located on the top floor of a historic Victorian home in the heart of Pacific Heights (one of the most desirable neighborhoods in San Francisco), and one block from the nearest park, 3 blocks from the famous Fillmore Street and an easy walk to Union Street. Walking distance to the cable car stop on California street/Van Ness (4 blocks) and to the muni transport (bus). There is a nice and quiet garden where you can sit outside with a glass of wine and an available private garage ($300/month).

It's also walking distance to the Marina, Crissy Field and the Golden Gate Bridge. It's just 2 blocks away from Fillmore Street and 5 blocks (downhill) to Union Street (both streets are great for shopping and dining). Pacific Heights is safe and quiet- a great area for runners or yoga lovers (many great studios - let me know and I will point you in a right direction). If you like walking, you will enjoy the views, the neighborhood's great historic homes and its parks.
Fun shopping can be found on both Fillmore and Union Street as well as in Japan Town, 3 blocks to the south. There are cafes and restaurants of all kinds. Live music can be found every night on Fillmore Street - famous jazz at Yoshi's and then there's the legendary Fillmore Auditorium itself. If you love movies – go to the Sundance Kabuki - a unique movie theater where you can get a glass of wine or a beer and enjoy the newest movie of your choice. 5 minutes by cab or a 15 minutes walk will take you to the Civic Center to see the Opera, Symphony or Ballet. Bus 1 would take you to the Golden Gate Park, Presidio and museums (it stops 1 block from my house).
San Francisco is a fun city all year round. My beautiful condominium has a dryer, dishwasher, microwave stove and a very comfortable European-king size (it's a bit smaller than American King, but larger than American Queen) Ligne Roset bed with Tempur-Pedic mattress and two Tempur-Pedic pillows. Additionally the Ligne Roset Smala sofa (the off-white color sofa on the photos) opens flat to create a bed - it is an easy process to open it. It comfortably sleeps one person. I add a Tempur-Pedic topper to make it more comfy.
Thank you for reading about my home.

Have a great time visiting San Francisco and let me know how I can help.
Wireless Internet SSID: HOME-A3F2. You will get the internet password upon your arrival.

This is my home, not just a place to rent. I only rent it out when I am out of the city, so I won't be able to interact much. I rather connect via email or telephone prior to your visit. My boyfriend can give you the keys and than he can pick it up. I can also leave the keys in a secure lock box in a garage so you can pick it up anytime. I will provide very clear instructions prior to your arrival. I would be very grateful for guests with integrity who would respect my space, as well as my neighbors. It's a peaceful, clean place is one of the best neighborhoods in San Francisco. I'd like to do my best to provide you with all information and answer any of your questions prior to the arrival. Please don't hesitate to email me. Thank you,

I live in Pacific Heights, which is one of the nicest neighborhoods in San Francisco with lots of beautiful Victorian and Edwardian buildings. I fell in love with this area when I first visited San Francisco. So when I moved here I was laser focused on finding a home here. My home is located on a hill, so the view is amazing. The AirBnb listed my home as located in the Western Addition - it is NOT correct. That area starts south from Pine Street, which is the border of Pacific Heights. My home is up on the hill from Pine Street – it is located on California Street. It is a very nice walk from my home down to the bay – you can see the Golden Gate Bridge. It is my daily running route – to run on Pine Street down to Marina Greens and back up on Scott Street; you can also run through the neighborhood parks.
The neighborhood parks have been just recently renovated and are beautiful places to relax and recharge (there is a very large one just a block away from my home). My home is also located 3.5 blocks from the cable car stop - the last one on corner of California Street and Van Ness Street. Also there are a lot of MUNI buses close to my home - when we connect I can help you find the bus to get to the part of the city that you would like to visit. For example: bus 1 is just one block from my home and it takes you directly to either Presidio or Golden Gate Park. If you walk four blocks south to Geary Street or three blocks to Fillmore Street you will get several buses to get you where you want to go. I get a lot of questions how far is my home from the downtown, Union Square - it is only 20 minutes walking down on California Street followed by right (walking down) on Powell street – it is an easy, very straightforward walk. You can also take a taxi, a 5 minutes ride or 10-15 minutes cable car ride (as you wait for the car to show up and to start moving and it is relatively slowly, but it's a lot of fun to experience it).
TV - I have cable, with free HBO and Showtime included in TV package and guests would have access to it.

Guest Access

All my home (the top floor or the historic Victorian building) and private balcony.

Interaction with Guests

You will have the whole place to yourself. I you have any questions or need any help I will leave you a phone number of my boyfriend, who will be able to help with whatever you may need.

The Neighborhood

Pacific Heights is one of the nicest historic neighborhoods that is centrally located in San Francisco.
There are lost of beautiful parks. Also my home is located close to the famous Fillmore Street and an easy walk to Union Street. Both streets are a shopping heaven. Also there are many great restaurants walking distance from my home. Walking distance to the cable car stop on California street/Van Ness (4 blocks) and to the muni transport (bus). Also if you love arts - you can get quickly to to Civic Center - 5 minutes by cab or a 15 minutes walk to enjoy Jazz performances (in the newest Jazz Center), Opera, Symphony or Ballet. Also if you love nature - bus 1 can take you to the Golden Gate Park, Presidio and museums (it stops 1 block from my house).

Pacific Heights is one of the nicest neighborhoods in San Francisco with lots of beautiful Victorian and Edwardian buildings. You can easily visit Japan Town - a small, but interesting part of the city. That is what you see from my balcony. It's just three blocks away. I love walking and enjoying my neighborhood, I fell in love with this area when I first visited San Francisco. So when I moved here I was very focused on finding a home here. My home is located on a hill, so the view is amazing. I mentioned it in a description - the AirBnb listed my home as located in the Western Addition - it is NOT correct. The neighborhood parks have been just recently renovated and are beautiful places to relax and recharge (there is a very large one just a block away from my home).

Check out the Fillmore street – I personally love the "Grove" cafe/restaurant, very down to earth neighborhood place on 2016 Fillmore Street, San Francisco, CA 94115 tel: (phone number hidden), no reservations needed. It's inexpensive and very casual. It's locals' hang out and you walk around 5 minutes from my home to it. Turn left from my door on California street and again left to Fillmore street and it will be on your left side. Another great place that is walking distance from my home (3 minutes, but call for a reservation or you'll be sitting by their small bar) Banker &Baker - 1701 Octavia Street, San Francisco, CA 94109 tel: (phone number hidden) – it's more fancy, but food is very good. My favorite sustainable sushi – Tataki on California street - 2815 California Street, San Francisco – enjoy the restaurants and Pacific Heights neighborhood.

Getting Around

Other Things to Note

It is a beautiful space, created with great care and attention to high quality details.

House Rules

My home is just for longer term rentals. My neighbors are very nice, but they do require that my guests will be respectful of CC&R house rules :) we can discuss the details prior to your booking. I'd like to talk to the potential guests first to see what your expectations are.
Pacific Heights and all my neighborhood is quiet. There is no partying allowed in my home. I'd like you to treat my home like your own with respect to the beautiful art and things I have.
I'd appreciate if you please take your shoes off - there is a shoe cabinet, right at the entrance.

One more person can comfortably sleep on my Ligne Roset Sofa that opens up flat and created a bed. I'd provide additional bedding upon the previous request. It's easily opened and closed and you'd find instructions in YouTube on how to open Smala sofa and create a bed. I'd you'd like I'll send you and instruction as well. If I'd be in town on the day of your arrival I'd love to show your everything at home (including the sofa).

Last - please remember to leave a set of keys in the secure key lock in the garage. I will provide further instruction to my guest.
