Charming Studio Apartment in SF
The apartment sits perfectly in the center of Hayes Valley, Mission, Castro and Lower Haight.
Located in a quiet part of a residential neighborhood and accessible by many of the above/underground transportation lines... this is by far the most central you can be to access it all.
The studio sits on the top floor of a 3 story building and has windows on 3 facing walls.
The kitchen is quaint and has everything you need from a stove, refrigerator, blender, juicer, french press, water filter to all the other standardized needs to cook just about anything.
The shower pours water so you'll never feel cold or uncomfortable when washing up.
The queen size bed is properly firm with and additional foam topper to make anyone rest perfectly through the night (even those with a bad back)
There is a desk to work at, chair to lounge in and WiFi in the apartment. There is a washer/dryer on the first floor (coin operated)
This place is small, but the light and openness along with the perfect location will keep you coming back for that cozy get away.

I had a great stay at Shae's! The apt was bright and comfortable, in a cute neighborhood, with plenty of amenities within walking distance. Parking was tricky but not impossible. Would definitely stay here again.
Shae's studio is perfect for one or two people who don't need a ton of space but would like to be right in the middle of things. It's a very short walk to the Mission and Haight and Fillmore Streets, and a toe minute walk from multiple buses and trains. Shae herself was always quick to respond to questions and helpful with suggestions for how to get around town. Recommended!
I stayed in Shae's place for 5 nights in January to get away to the city and work on my second book. It was perfect for me. Super-quiet room. There was construction next door but that was only during the day and did not bother me. At night it was incredibly quiet, not street noise at all. It's small and cozy and clean, with everything you need. There's a great cafe, Soleil, just a couple of blocks away, where I spent many happy hours writing. Such a great, central location. I walked to the Mission, Noe Valley, the Castro and of course Hayes Valley and even ran all the way to the Marina and back one day, on Fillmore. One note: if you are taking your car, parking is difficult. My advice: come on a Thursday morning at 9am. Then stay in your car in a spot directly across the street from Shae's place. It's street cleaning on Thursday, 8 to 10am, and that one block does not having parking restrictions. You can park there for a number of days (the rest of the neighborhood is 2-hour max unless you have a permit). By 9:30, the whole block will be filled with people waiting in their cars for their spots, so be prepared to camp out by 9. Bring a book!
Again, a great little place for a single or couple to get away to the city in a super-central, clean, quiet spot. Shae was very helpful and responsive, and even let me extend my stay by the day, just letting her know each morning.
Have stayed twice. Shae's place is cozy and has everything you need, and she is very responsive and a great host! Thanks Shae!
Loved the location and the studio. It was really easy to access the place and everything was set up just perfect. Shae was a great host and you could definitely tell she took the time to set up the place and arrange the smallest detail.
A great place to stay. Easy to get to from public transportation. A great location. Apartment was very clean and comfy. Shae was easy to communicate with and a hospitable host. What an easy and great experience!
Pleasant, professional, helpful host. Accessible but not intrusive. We had a great time.
I had a short but very comfortable stay in SF thanks to Shae's great place! Nicely situated in Hayes Valley, it's a short walk to great things in the Castro and Mission. There's even a Safeway nearby, which is convenient.
The description was accurate, and Shae was a great host - very quick to communicate and great to interact with. I highly recommend her place for short stays for 1-2 people in SF.
My colleague had only one complaint about this apartment: ants! He said they were everywhere. Other than that, he said his stay was fine.
I understand that this could just be an isolated incident. I would book here again if the ant problem were resolved.
Shae's studio in Lower Haight was located in an incredibly convenient spot just off Market Street. While quite small, the apartment had everything needed to enjoy a few days exploring San Francisco, including a fun white-board drawing of the city and suggestions for where to go on it. Of particular interest are the bed and shower--super cozy bed and awesome shower pressure. If you're looking for a place that has cozy soul for your San Francisco adventure, Shae's is the place to be.
