The location of the flat was really good. However, if you are coming during the summer months, beware there is no AC in the downstairs area. It is only upstairs. It was cold during the night, but the apartament was still very hot. We were also relying on washing clothes there because we were going on a cruise after, but the washer door did not close. We had to wash by hand. If you are used to larger bathrooms and such, beware that they are small. The shower upstairs was broken so when we showered, we had to hold the shower hose in one hand, and wash with the other. It was quite difficult. Overall, it was a pretty good stay. I tend to be somewhat picky about the temperature of the room, but it was very hot downstairs without AC.
This apartment is beautiful, comfortable and situated so well for newcomers to Paris. It's easy to get to the sites, nice food, and fabulous shopping.
Gaelle’s apartment is nice. The location is excellent. You have access to some good restaurants and bars. It’s 5 out of 5 for the location. There is one thing that bothers me though, when you step inside the apartment, you will find instructions on almost every thing. Do this, do that, blah.. blah.. blah.. reminds me of my school days! It gets annoying after a while. The bathroom sink refused to drain water so was rendered useless. The host does not provide you with handwash, hair dryer etc, so do remember to carry your own. Do not get me wrong, barring a few (minor) niggles the apartment is worth it and I would definitely not mind staying here again (of course I have learned to ignore the instructions already!)
great location！Easy to go anywhere on foot or by Metro. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment is functional with everything. A Good stay for our family in Paris.
We had a fantastic stay, the location was the best. It was an easy walk to any site or Metro. There were dozens of great restaurants and cafes nearby. Other than a few loud people going home late one night the stay was great.
The elevator was handy for moving luggage but the we used the stairs on our daily outings. The elevator is typical of Europe and only two can get in at a time. In my experience, an elevator is a luxury. The apartment could use a little tender care and additional cutlery. Other than this it was well equipped. There is a Nespresso machine but no cups, we found the local Nespresso Boutique, we left two sleeves for the next guests.
Our host was accommodating with our arrival plans and made us feel welcome, we only met the caretaker/cleaner but she was very helpful. We will stay again!
The flat was very nice (very clean and nicely furnished). The location was very convenient. Gaelle was very responsive to our questions before and during our stay.
