About This Listing
Lovely private guest room with two twin beds in our historic 1898 Victorian townhouse, walking distance to lovely Prospect Park & the subway, 20 minutes to downtown Manhattan.
This quiet retreat in the back of the house looks out over the gabled rooftops of Fenimore Street and down onto the gardens and yards below. A full sized room with two twin beds make this room ideal for traveling friends or family who prefer separate beds.
This room shares a beautiful restored 1920's bathroom with just one other guest room on the same floor. Just one flight up from the Parlor.
We provide towels, bedding, toiletries, hair dryer, and mini-fridge in the room.
There is WiFi in the whole house and the Parlor is equipped with books, board games, TV, as well as a tea kettle and Keurig Coffee Machine with an array of coffees, hot chocolate, and teas to choose from. There is also a workstation with a printer and scanner.
The Parlor is where we also serve our full, fresh, home-made breakfast every morning at 9 am for $10 per person. Just let us know before you arrive what days you'd like to sign up.
Interaction with Guests
We are happy to help with any questions or requests. We love to take the time to talk about our love for Brooklyn and all the wonderful things you can do in New York City.
Prospect Lefferts Gardens is a lovely, quiet neighborhood just minutes from Prospect Park and less than 20 minutes into Manhattan.
We are walking distance to Prospect Park, Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, Prospect Park Zoo, Brooklyn Museum of Art, and more!
We are a 5-7 minute walk from the Prospect Park subway station, with Q & B express trains that whip you into Manhattan in 15 minutes or out to Coney Island. We are one train stop or a walk through the park from lovely Park Slope, Brooklyn, full of shops and restaurants, and two train stops from Atlantic Avenue & Barclay's Center, both a shopping mall and the city's largest train hub for you to switch to almost any other train line.
No Smoking or loud noise, arrival is by appointment.
The B and B is in a lovely neighbourhood close to a great Deli (Wholesome) and several small grocery stores, the Brooklyn Museum and the Botanical Gardens-all within walking distance. Friendly staff are helpful and willing to answer questions. The rooms are adequate and clean. I would recommend Lefferts Manor to anyone needing well priced accommodations with easy access to the city. Breakfasts are also great!
