The Space

First floor flat in one of Østerbro’s oldest but most charming buildings.
This 2-room, 1 bedroom apartment is located in the heart of Østerbro, which is the nothern part of the inner city of Copenhagen and a more 'posh' area. It is one of Copenhagen's most attractive living areas, which also reflects the range of exclusive designer shops, restaurants, cafe's etc. Østerbro is also home to the national stadium 'Parken', and right next to it is Denmark’s largest public park 'Fælledparken'. Fælledparken is used all year round for play and fun, sun bathing, strolls, running, gatherings, parties, outdoor theatre and concerts. The district is characterized by broad boulevards and beautiful green areas.

This flat is located on one of the most superb streets at Østerbro, Nordre Frihavnsgade. This street was voted “Best street” in Copenhagen in 2009 and everything you need such as supermarkets, dry cleaners, laundromat, cafe's, green grocers etc., you will be able to find here. The flat is closely located to Trianglen, where busses will take you in every direction – 3A will lead to directly to Nørrebro in 5 min., while 14 or 1A will bring you to Copenhagen center, also in 5 min.

The flat is fully furnished and all furniture is new and modern since the apartment have only been occupied by me and my boyfriend for 2 years. The flat is 58m2 and recently renovated, which makes it trendy and means optimal use of the space. The flat has a large living room with 32” flat screen, sofa, dining table suitable for up to 6 people, a large bedroom with 180 cm. bed, suited for 2 (if you are 3, I have an extra mattress for 1 person available on request), closet space and small kitchen with all necessities for a serious cook. Bathroom was redone when we moved in, with new shower cabinet and toilet.

Ekstra: Wireless internet. Linens and towels included.

I have family living in the building, so if you need anything or have any questions on hand, they will be happy to help out. Because it is a small family run building, I’d like to get to know a bit about you before I accept your booking – so please do tell me a little bit about yourself, what you do, your reason for coming to Copenhagen and even your last name. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you.

  • Christine was a great host, very helpful as to how to get to her flat and very responsive to our questions. The apartment is really cosy and tidy, and has everything you need to make your stay memorable, offering all the modern necessities. The location is ideal, in a very nice area of CPH with lots of bars and restaurants close-by. A bus takes you right in the center in less than 15 minutes and a metro station is at walking distance, taking you to the airport, Malmö or the Louisiana museum. We had an amazing stay there, thanks to Christine's place and the kindness of Danish people. We strongly recommend this accommodation and this city!

  • I rented Christine's apartment 3 weeks last January. I had to move from Barcelona to Denmark to start working in Copenhagen and her place was just perfect.

The apartment is located in Osterbro, a charming neighborhood that is close to everything, near the lakes and a big park and very close to Osterport Station. It is a quite and pleasant area where you will avoid crowds and be at the same time close to everything. Reaching the center of Copenhagen is a really nice walk from the apartment and also, I enjoyed to just scroll around in Osterbro, which has beautiful old buildings, nice shops and restaurants.

The apartment is cosy, with a nice double bed and a well equipped kitchen and it has a real taste of Copenhagen's style. I felt so good in her apartment that I am moving to the apartment just above in a month!

Everything was very clean and she was a wonderful host. Christine is gentle, close, flexible and faithful. Also she can give you very good tips if you are visiting Copenhagen.

I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to spend some days in Copenhagen.

  • Five GOLD stars out of five to Christine. She is most welcoming, warm and genuine, and truly ensured my comfort and beyond. The apartment is immaculate and beyond amazing! Fantastic value for money. It is a perfect mixture of warm and modern design. Very high standard and everything you could possibly need. Its a stunning accommodation with spectacular location. You will find a 24 hour shop just 1 min away where you can buy newspapers, coffee, milk, fresh bread etc. The area itself is just fabulous, and you can not get a better location. If your going to Copenhagen, make this your desired choice for first class accommodation. Thank you again for a fabulous stay. I will be back! Warmest regards, Maria
