We enjoyed the appartement very much, as it was perfect for our family (2 kids) during our stay in Florence. We would highly recommend it !!
+ The appartement is very well situated, only minutes walking from all the major cultural attractions and a lot of restaurants !
+ The appartement is clean and light really flows in. The decoration was classic but enjoyable.
+ The 160cm bed is very comfy !
+ Mine (and her father) is lovely and was very reactive during the booking process and the stay.
+ The appartement is "kid-proof" and feels safe around kids.
- The bathrooms may me considered a little bit small.
- The soundproofing of the windows is a little bit poor, though it is OK for very day life, the street was being redone during our stay...
Appartamento in posizione centralissima, siamo stati in 6 e nessun problema. Uno dei 2 bagni troppo piccolo, diventa quasi impossibile farsi la doccia. Tutto sommato appartamento confortevole . Mine una persona disponibile e puntualissima. CONSIGLIATO.
Great experience! The apartment is very well located, clean and comfortable, with all that is necessary for a lovely stay in Florence. It is less than 100 meters from Ponte Vecchio and all the best attractions can be visited on foot. We didn´t have the chance to meet Mine but her father welcomed us and helped us with all that was needed. If you go by car, there are plenty of parking garages nearby, at reasonable prices.
The apartment was spacious for the five of us, clean and well located to both SMN and the highlights of Florence. Mine was quick to respond to my questions and Stefano who met us to show us the apartment was also very helpful. Having an elevator made it very easy to check in and check out. A nice touch was the wine and food hamper left to welcome us. The apartment is located across from the central markets (which is wonderful to visit) and in an area containing many stalls. People set their stalls up early in the morning which can be noisy. This was not an issue during winter as we had all the windows closed but in summer could be an issue if the windows are open. Fortunately the apartment has AC which means you could close the windows. The apartment is very modern and has all the conveniences to make for an enjoyable stay. I have would recommend this apartment.
Arrived in Florence on a drizzly and gray Tuesday afternoon at the train station. Even though my internet directions mentioned a 15-minute walk, with luggage and the weather, it was more like 40-minutes but the flat is worth it.
Located just around the corner from the Ponte Vecchio, Mine greeted us and showed us all around the flat and its amenities. She was even kind enough to give us a map of the city with the major sites and local markets highlighted and, when it turned out to be too cold for us, she returned the next day to adjust the heat.
The flat is very clean and spacious, with plenty of space for 4 adults and a supermarket just down the street.
It was nice to have such a famous landmark nearby, so we never got lost and there are plenty of interesting shops and sites within a 15 minute radius of the flat.
I honestly can't think of how our stay could have been better.
Beautiful. I was overwhelmed when we walked in. The Living and Dining Room spaces are lovely. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is functional with a dishwasher and washing machine. Everything was very clean. The apartment is centrally located, on the third floor overlooking the Piazza Del Signoria.
Francesca coordinated our entry. She was very communicative, met us on time and was informative as to the nuances of the workings in the apartment.
If you are a foodie and have an iphone, download the Eat Italy - Florence App. Elizabeth Minchilli's recommendations are on the mark. Dinner at Fagioli was delicious - be sure to make a reservation. We had one of the best burgers ever in Lungarno 23 (.... and sometimes when travelling - you just need a burger break). The Carapina gelato is to die for. We were travelling over the Christmas - New Year Holiday and Carapina was closed until January 4th so we did not get there until our last day. Once we tasted it, we actually considered foregoing dinner and simply bringing several pints of gelato back to the apartment.
Our stay was wonderful and I highly recommend this apartment.
Our thanks to Mine and Francesca.
Appartamento molto carino in pieno centro a Firenze!!!si possono raggiungere tutte le mete in pochi minuti e tutte a piedi..l'host è una persona molto simpatica e disponibile!!CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!
Great location and apartment. Highly recommended. Excellent communication, couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable trip!
Before we arrived in Florence, I had a lot of questions and Mine was very good about answering all of them. Sometimes she did not answer for a few days, but the questions were trivial ones. A little disappointment was that we arrived in Florence at 9:30 AM and could not get into the apartment until 15:00. We noticed there was no one in the apartment the day before, so we asked if we could get in early and that request was denied. So we had close to 5 hours to hang around with our luggage waiting for Stefano. When we met with him, he was very helpful, he spent an hour with us explaining how everything worked in the apartment. And he left a goodie basket and some wine and juice that we really appreciated. The apartment is beautiful and spacious. We had so much room to relax. The location was perfect also, we took a lot of day trips and the proximity to the train station made it convenient.
I couldn't recommend enough Mine's place. Honestly, it was even better than expected, the flat was VERY comfortable and well located, it certainly helped making our stay in Firenze more remarkable.
