  • We and our family just had a great one week stay at Pedro and Jesus' charming old house in Ronda, which is extremely well located. It was very comfortable and the electric radiators did a good job warming the place up. There were a few things that were missing when we first got there (e.g. a toaster, shower curtain) but everything was sorted out within a couple of days. We chose to park in the nearby 15 Euro/day car park as apparently only locals are allowed to park in the old town now.

  • Pedro's house very comfortable and in a great location. Parking was also relatively easy which hasn't been my experience in most other Spanish Old Towns I've been visiting.

  • We had a wonderful stay in Ronda. This beautiful house is in a very good location. You can have a beautiful view at the sunset just around the corner. There is an awesome terrace on the roof. There is everything you need in the house. Communication was very easy and without any problems. We can recommend that house and Pedro as a host to everyone! Thank you very much!

  • Great house and location. We had plenty of hot water for our stay. Walking distance to just about anywhere. Great value for the money. 3 -5 minute walk to"the Bridge."

  • Excellent place to stay.
The place was bigger then expected ..

  • This three-storey house in the old town is a two minute walk to the beautiful Puente Nuevo (new bridge) that crosses the El Tajo gorge. The location couldn't be better. The house was clean, spacious and the neighbourhood was quiet. There is a school next door, so we could hear the kids playing in the morning. The bathroom on the second floor has poor water pressure, so I used the one on the ground floor, which had stronger and hotter water.

We did have some trouble getting in touch with Pedro a couple of days before our arrival regarding check in timing. I think there may have been some technical issues with him receiving the messages. I sent a couple of messages on Airbnb and then to his email address and did not hear from him until the morning we were heading to Ronda, which was stressful.

We arrived in Ronda by bus and were able to walk to the house from the bus station. Pedro's brother Jesus met us at the house. He was very friendly and provided some good recommendations. We really enjoyed the cheap, local tapas place he told us about: El Lechuguita. We spent a lot of time wandering around the town (around the gorge, along the city walls etc.) and our favourite attraction was the Casa del Roy, which had stairs deep into the rock all the way to the bottom of the gorge.

I'd recommend staying here and would stay again if I'm lucky enough to visit Ronda again.

  • We stayed for two nights in Pedro's place in November (2013). The place is beautiful and the location can't be beat. Pedro met us there to let us in and showed us where we could find free parking for our rental car. It was rainy and chilly while we were there but Ronda seems like an amazing place to visit in the spring or summer. We hope to go back and if we do, we'll definitely stay here again.

  • On arrival in Ronda Pedro left work and met with us and took us back to the apartment which is excellent in a good position and great value for money - I would not hesitate to recommend this stay to anyone and one day hope to return
