We had a wonderful experience at Anne's cabin. The location itself is charming, in a small quiet neighborhood just a short walk or drive from down town guerneville. Inside the cabin was more spacious than I anticipated. There is lovely art hanging in every room and the deck is spectacular. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. A major plus was the dock with direct access to the river and not to mention the hot tub. I would definitely recommend staying at Anne's cabin.
Our stay was great. The cottage is beautiful, quiet, and exactly like the pictures. Anne was very accessible and answered all our queries promptly.
Really enjoyed this cozy well appointed cabin. The location on the river was perfect. Having the boat dock & use of the canoe added a fun element to our adventure. We had everything we needed. Anne was very helpful when we had a problem or question. Would highly recommend this rental.
Great space right on the river and we were lucky to also Have great neighbors in the other cabin! Canoe was perfect for trekking around. House was stocked with everything we needed. Would love to return for another River weekend!
Great four days on the river! Comfortable space with all necessary amenities and then some. We really enjoyed the dock and canoe. Recommend this one bedroom cottage for a relaxing stay on the Russian River.
Sweet Cabin under the redwoods. Anne was a kind and gracious host. The home looks even better in person, it was clean and more than adequate with a full kitchen. The bathroom was light and clean and the deck overlooking the Russian River was the highlight. Perfect 4 day escape with hubby.
I would rate this place a 6 or 7 on a scale from 1-10. The good: Nice location (pretty hard to find at night!), enough room (nice and large kitchen) and clean. Also a nice front deck.
The bad: The sleeper sofa was okay for using it for our 3 year old daughter. But to be honest, the quality is pretty bad and I would not recommend sleeping some oulder children our adults on it. The living room didn't had any curtains. This was a bit of a problem for us making sure our daughter would sleep well into the morning. So we had to hang up towels and blankets. Not ideal. Also the walk to the river down the stairs is a bit of a jungle tour and makes the waterfront not really suited for children. Outside could use some more greenkeeping. Finally there were some noticibles cracks and openings in some windows which caused some draft and with the cold nights (end of may) this was kind of an issue.
