  • My friends and I stayed in this rowhouse for the weekend. We live all over the country and had the best time hanging out again and this house was perfect for it. There was plenty of space and the furnishings were nice. I stayed in the master suite with my husband and our one year old baby and there was plenty of space for her pack and play and the million things you travel with when you have a baby :) My husband took several walks with the stroller and enjoyed walking around he neighborhood. Melissa picked my friend up from the airport and she said Melissa was gracious, friendly, and exceeded her expectations in terms of serving her as a guest. We would definitely stay here again if needed. We had a great time!

  • Melissa hosted us on short notice, was responsive and the space was as advertised. The location was great and the parking very convenient. Would definitely stay again.

  • Greatly enjoyed Cabbagetown and Melissa's quaint house! We were in ATL for a volleyball tournament and the location to downtown couldn't have been better. The neighbors were welcoming and helpful. Loved all the local food spots - do Little's, Village Pizza, Sweet Cheats, and Thumbs Up Cafe! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen perfect for fixing breakfast before our day got started, the wireless strong - all the necessities a family needs. Melissa was very hospitable - from booking all the way through providing nice house snacks. We highly recommend Melissa's house.

  • The townhouse is in the coolest little neighborhood and makes you feel like you're in your own little world. Melissa provided everything we needed and was very responsive. I'd stay here again for sure!

Melissa was always helpful and there was great communication from the first message all the way through to checkout. I highly recommend this rental! Thanks Melissa!! See ya next time.

  • We had a great experience at Melissa's house! We were 6 girls on a weekend trip to Atlanta and the house was perfect. It's in a great location with restautrants and grocery store nearby. The house was well equipped for preparing meals and comfortable seating, sleeping and bathing for 6. Other than the parking being a little tight (we came in a suburban and a smaller SUV) the overall stay was excellent and we had a great time! We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this house to our friends. Melissa was also very helpful and communicated well prior to and during our stay.

  • Loved this place! Melissa was wonderful to work with and everything was very nice. The house is adorable and it is set on the absolute cutest street. The cafe across the street has unbelievable breakfast, the tavern up the street has a great atmosphere, and the Little's food store was awesome! All in all, next time we are going to Atlanta, we'll definitely try to stay here :)

  • Great communication, very friendly and fun host! Nice house, as described! Would stay there again!

    January 2014
  • Stayed here during the Atlanta Gift Show in January. Because of bad weather we had to adjust our arrival time by one day for which Melissa happily accommodated us. A much more economical choice for our group than booking individual hotel rooms. We would certainly consider booking this home for the next time we are in Atlanta.

    January 2014
  • Melissa's house is absolutely gorgeous and the neighborhood is so cute, my only regret is that we didn't stay here longer!

Melissa met us at the house and showed us around, giving us some great advice on where to go for food and drink in the area as well as around Atlanta. She was super accommodating and really helpful.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the whole house is decorated beautifully and also really comfortable. I cannot recommend this enough and I will certainly stay here again if I go back to Atlanta!

About
I'm a high school History teacher at the only high school in Smyrna, Georgia, which also happens to be the school that my teenage son attends. In addition to being a teacher and a mom, I'm also a wife. So obviously, I'm always busy. I absolutely love going to festivals! I also love anything that has to do with history! My husband and I have a goal to start an organization that will focus on assisting inner city youth. Too often, this demographic is falsely incarcerated, and they do not have access to proper legal assistance. Our desire is to start a coalition of professionals who will dedicate pro bono their services to this underrepresented population.
