The Space

Oasis in the middle of everything! Parking and traffic have become ridiculous so stay this close, you spend crazy $ on taxis if you can get one! The map shows its literally the closest to downtown onairbnb. Tucked into quiet for playing and relaxing

Walk everywhere!! Parking and traffic in Austin have become ridiculous so stay right close (you'd spend a fortune on taxis if you can even muster one)! If you look at the map our house is literally the closest you can get to downtown where all the action is. We great reviews below but not sure why it was mention ed we are were a mile away....we are .3 miles to be exact:)
It is also the coolest house you've ever stayed in!!

Our home was just profiled on (website hidden) and was completed less than six months ago.

We are in the prime nexus of music venues, infinite restaurants, galleries, bike rental shops (we also have them) and parks. We are where the three most fun neighborhoods meet!

After going to the main Houzz page enter "reclaimed rises from the trees" in their search box to get a fuller portrait.

Tempurpedic beds! Tempurpedic queen bed sleeps two, Guest bedroom sleeps three & the big couches sleep three, stainless steel appliances, great bathrooms, side porch is perched up in the treetops, great for socializing or morning coffee to gather yourself before the fun....the cordless record player makes this a transcendent experience p in the tree canopy.

Oversized Copper Bathtub.
Architectural antiques including submarine stairs.
Giant vaulted front porch with ever-present breeze included.

I keep a prepaid phone for international guests. It costs less than you than buying a local phone and SIM!

Please let me know if there is ANYTHING else you might need as your personal concierge if needed.
If no questions, privacy is yours too.

Disclaimer: This is probably the coolest house you will ever stay in BUT our home has been crafted with antique and vintage materials which have been used extensively through the home, not every surface is like a tract home. Character. This is not to be confused with cleanliness which we value highly.

I can provide concierge type service or relinquish you to your privacy...or a hybrid of both.

I stay in the tiny casita at the back of the property so I can be here to help you find anything you need.

Bus stop to explore up north or way south is a half block away. The best restaurants and coffee shops are in our hood.

  • We had a great experience at the Treehouse. Four of us were in town for a concert at Stubbs, as well as to just generally enjoy Austin and we couldn't have stayed at a better place. The house is well-located, nestled about a mile away from both downtown and the cool restaurants on S Congress. One morning we took about a 5 minute drive to do some hiking in Barton Springs. The house itself is meticulously put together on the inside with a cool, artistic flavor. Two bedrooms upstairs are quiet and, as a city dweller, present a refreshing feel like you're one with nature. Great for sleeping. Christina was the perfect host who went above and beyond. She had beers and wine for us when we arrived, gave great restaurant recommendations, and even offered to take us back to the airport. We will try to stay here again next time we're in Austin. Enjoy.

  • We stayed at Christina's incredible home in the trees during our stay in Austin and the experience couldn't have been greater. The place is so unique, each part of the house had a different story behind it. It is an architectural master piece. With huge ceilings, antique front doors, spiral staircase, and a huge deck overlooking downtown. It was new, clean and spacious. It is the best area in Austin.
Christina made the whole experience incredibly easy and friendly.
I definitely recommend her place to anyone traveling to Austin. I know we will stay there when we are back.

  • CC's place was a great getaway from the chaos that is SXSW. She was very accommodating and hospitable, to the point of offering rides into town. The place is just a short walk over the bridge into downtown and has several amenities in or very near the property (restaurants, bars, pharmacy, convenience stores, etc).

The one key challenge was catching/ordering a cab when you would prefer not to walk, but I would imagine this is much less of a problem when it is not SXSW or ACL.

Would highly recommend staying at CC's place though!

The unique, funky South Congress (SOCO) restaurant and shopping district is a ten minute walk. We love living here. It's amazing. I have traveled all over the world-sometimes staying in hotels-sometimes backpacking through tiny villages in Asia. I was lucky to come across really good people and experience so much hospitality everywhere I went that I am so happy to reciprocate now for travelers to Austin. I will be happy to do whatever I can to make your visit as easy, relaxed and positive as possible.
