  • I had a terrific experience staying at Lindsey's place. She was very communicative and had a lot of great information to share about Austin. Her place is in a good location and the neighborhood is quiet and safe but it is near some good restaurants and nightlife. The space itself, decorated very interestingly, had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay.

Lindsey was quick to answer any questions I had about the place or about Austin. I highly recommend staying at Lindsey's place when you are in Austin.

  • Lindsey's place is great! It was clean and a good size for 4 people. My friends and I bought groceries so we can cook, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bed is SUPER comfortable!

The best part was the welcome note Lindsey left us and how everything was extremely easy to find. If you can't find something you need, it's either in the guidebook or Lindsey will be able to help you find it! She is very responsive and accommodating.

The location was great, it was easy to get around. The neighborhood is safe and pretty. We had a great stay. Thank you, Lindsey!

  • I booked Lindsey's place for my parents, who were visiting me in Austin. They liked it a great deal--thought it was very comfortable, and homey. Lindsey is a very accessible host and easy to get in touch with if you have questions. Everything was as advertised. There was ample parking in the back lot. Lindsey filled the fridge with breakfast foods. The kitchen is a little understocked/small if you are planning to cook or eat take-out (we ordered take-out the first night and discovered there were no large plates or mugs). Another note for out-of-towners: the house is on a busy street, so there's some noise from traffic in the living room (this wasn't an issue or a surprise for me since I had seen the place beforehand). All in all, a fantastic experience in a great location! Lindsey is a great host!

  • Great place!! Felt like I was staying at a friends house. Location was perfect walking distance from a market and bus stop right up the street. Place had everything we needed and then some. The guide book was awesome and super helpful. Would definitely stay again when I come back to Austin.

  • Stayed here for SXSW music week with some friends and Lindsey was a great host! Her place was exactly as advertised. Very cozy and in a great location. The house guide book was very helpful in getting around and providing great suggestions for places to eat. I would recommend her place to anyone.

  • We had a great SXSW while staying in Lindsey's apartment. The place was clean and cozy. Lindsey made sure everything was arranged well. I can definitely suggest this place if you are staying Austin. Do rent some bikes if you are in Austin it is by far the most fun way of getting around.

I am 29 years old. I grew up and went to college in Charleston Illinois. After 23 years of crappy Midwestern weather, I picked up and moved to Austin. What a breath of life this town has been. I've been fortunate to find wonderful friends who love music as much as I do. And have fallen in love with this city because of its relaxed nature and friendliness. In my spare time, I go to as many live shows as possible. I love to be on the lake or out in the sun in any manner of the phrase. I love animals, though do not own any myself. I like to get involved in a good tv series and can often be found on my couch on a rainy day watching HBO or Netflix. I love shopping for and listening to records. There's a great thrill in the hunt for a classic record in the used section. I also like to eat. A lot. Queso practically pumps through my veins. I don't drink much, but love to go out with my friends anyway. I'm a pretty clean person. It's hard for me to function in an cluttered environment. Though you wouldn't know it by looking at my desk at work. I work at a law firm in West Lake Hills, west of Austin. Though I love the firm and my boss, I do not like law nor aspire to become a lawyer. Truth is, I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I'm just taking it a day at a time. I strive to be a great host. My door is always open; mi casa, su casa!
