Andrew's house is ok, no more. It seems that he doesn't live here and it's only for renting. The location isn't convenient if you don't have a car, because subway stations are far away and the bus that can take you to subway run every 20 mins. That's long wait. And as for safety, it's not as bad as Chicago South Side but I wouldn't call it very safe. And we can hear noise from upstairs everyday and night, even the sound of walking. Really bad sound proof.
Andrew is the most helpful and friendly host I´ve met via Airbnb. Though we didn´t get a chance to meet in person, he followed up with me before, during and after my stay. The apartment is clean, spacious and located in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and with great A/C. Thank you!
The house was comfortable and clean, which made our stay very enjoyable. Andrew was very friendly and easy to work with as well. Parking would have been an issue if we didn't have such a small car, so if you have a van or truck you will have to find street parking.
The house was in a short driving distance to Navy Pier and Millennium Park, plus there are a lot of little shops to explore around the local neighborhoods (Chinatown is within walking distance and has a lot to offer). Overall, I am very happy with our trip and I would recommend Andrew's apartment to anyone visiting the area!
A first time Airbnb user, I was unsure of the process and uneasy about staying somewhere other than a hotel. Andrew was great! He met us when we arrived and gave us a run down on the bus routes, places to eat and other general information about the city. The apartment itself was clean, beds were comfortable, and towels and sheets were provided. We experienced the Pilsen area, where the apartment is located, to be safe and full of character. Would absolutely rent again.
The place is nice and is exactly as described. I particularly liked the parking spot. Andrew is flexible. I arrived a little later than I thought but checking in went smoothly. I also agreed with an earlier review that the footsteps upstairs is loud. We slept early so it may not be a problem if you are a night owl.
Andrew was great! My sales guys were very pleased with the place! They really enjoyed having that free parking spot in the middle of downtown Chicago. Who has heard of such a thing?? :D
Andrew was very flexible with check-in and check-out times. The place is exactly as described. The neighborhood has everything you need and the commuting is short to most Chicago's tourist attraction. Thanks Andrew!
Excellent host that met us even when we were running late. Extremely well stocked house with tons of supplies. A fantastic apartment that wasn't that far from public transportation.
This was an amazing deal and wouldn't hesitate a bit about booking this again if I ever return to the city! Neighborhood seemed safe and welcoming!
Andrew also was extremely responsive even when we had an issue, responding in a very short amount of time!
This place was great and ideal. Andrew was a great host, he met us at the apartment and welcomed us.
