This is Cookie Top Mountain Chalet. We wanted to create a place where not only families, but also their fur babies could enjoy, although we do have a 2 dog maximum. To experience the elegance of the majestic views from our cabin, please plan for travel over a brief period of gravel roads. We recommend an SUV or front wheel drive capable vehicle.

The space
Inside, you’ll find plenty of room for everyone with four cozy bedrooms, three bathrooms, and spacious gathering areas, including two inviting living rooms. The kitchen comes fully stocked so you can enjoy home‑cooked meals together, and the washer/dryer is ready with detergent for your convenience.
Step outside and take in the mountain air on one of the two large decks, complete with a full outdoor kitchen and TV—perfect for entertaining. Spend your evenings around the fire pit, soak in the hot tub under the stars, or relax on one of the patios with your morning coffee. With six indoor TVs and a whole‑house generator, we’ve tried to think of everything to make your stay as comfortable and carefree as possible.

BATHROOM
The bathrooms are stocked with all the necessities for our use. If you forgot an essential item such as a toothbrush, razor or deodorant, there are extras for guests in the closet outside of the loft bathroom.

LAUNDRY
There is a washer/dryer available for your use. There should always be laundry soap and fabric softener available for your use. They are on top of the dryer.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything but food. Please feel free to use any of the cookware that you need, there are dishwasher tabs under the sink.

TV & NETFLIX
There are several TV’s in the house. We have satellite channels, but feel free to log into your favorite streaming platform.

INDOOR FIREPLACE
The fireplace is natural gas. Use the key to turn the valve on and then select the button for how much time you want the unit to run. Both of these switches are on the right side of the fireplace.

FIREPIT
Feel free to use the firepit, but please do not burn cardboard or plastic as the debris will blow back towards the cabin. There should always be a wood pile for your use.

OUTDOOR GRILL
The grill is hooked to natural gas, you will need to turn on the valve to use.

HOT TUB
Please enjoy the hot tub. When not in use, please turn down to 85 degrees.

FUR BABIES
We welcome you to bring your dog, please limit this to 2 dog’s per stay. There is a complementary dog kennel in the living room, along with food and water bowls in the kitchen. If your fur baby makes a mess in the kennel, please wash the pad before you leave.
