The Space

This beautiful apartment of 50 sqm finished to be renovated in 2012 is characterized in the furniture and objects contained by a clear and obvious appeal to MULTY-ETHNIC style and this reflects perfectly the soul and heart of the Esquilino Area, where the apartment is located . Esquilino (email hidden) for ethnic groups of different habits and traditions that in any case are perfectly in accordance with the ancient traditions of Rome.
Property Equipments :
Internet Wi-Fi, Air Conditioning, Autonomous Heating , TV LCD with digital terrestrial channels , Fridge , Washing Machine , boiler , Coffee machine , Linen and towels
The apartment consists of a living room with dining area and sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen to prepare excellent Italian dinners with products certainly bought in one of the many shops in the area , bedroom, bathroom with shower and a small garden where you can enjoy the freshness of the morning maybe drinking a good Italian coffee. At a distance of 400 metres from the apartment you can find 2 metro stations : Vittorio Emanuele Metro Station and Manzoni Metro Station . This allows the guest to move very easily all around Rome and to reach the historical centre in a very fast and comfortable way . Furthermore the Termini Railway Station is very near and reachable by foot ( distance about 1 km )

  • My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights over the new year period. We found it to be satisfactory for our needs over this busy time as we had dinners and day trips planned throughout our stay and only really used the apartment to sleep in. It was clean and extremely unique and interesting with all the art pieces and is located near to termini station and about a 12 min walk to the Colosseum. The biggest downfall about this apartment are the noisy neighbours above.

  • Window in the kitchen would not close completely or lock. Fortunately there are bars on the window.
Dishes are incomplete, and if cooking bring knives - there are only butter knives.
    Cleanliness was marginal.
We accidentally broke the plastic handle to the washing machine. It took 2 days for someone to come and get our clothes out of the washer (not possible with broken handle). Clothes then put in the kitchen sink with water dripping on them. We were charged 100 Euros security deposit to fix the broken plastic handle.

We left 3 days prior to anticipated/paid for departure, and leaving the apartment made us much happier.

My comment to the Host (via another feedback area) is as follows:

"We disliked our stay at your apartment, which was probably evident by our leaving early. 100 Euros to replace a plastic handle is remarkably pricey. I do not believe that we were treated fairly."

  • The studio in Rome was great. We walked everywhere and the train and metto are just minutes away. The best gelato in Rome is five minutes away. Vladimir and Marco made this stay very easy. Thank you!

  • This was such a fun, eclectic apartment to stay! Marco is a pleasure to work with and incredibly quick and responsive! He is happy to work with his guests to make sure their stay is perfect! If we return to Marco, I will absolutely book with him again and recommend our friends do the same. The apartment is great. The decor is very lively and fun, the couch is huge and comfortable! I never wanted to leave it. Both the kitchen and the bathroom are well equipped and the wi-fi is the best we've had in all our travels and stays in Europe! As for the location, its a 5 minute walk from Termini Station which made it so incredibly convenient when we traveled from Rome. Their is a bus from the airport to Termini Station that costs 4 Euros so it made it very affordable (as opposed to the train for 14 euros or the taxi which would be much more!) We stayed at the apartment for about 9 days but it would be perfect for both a short or long stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment, Marco and it was a great decision!

  • The flat is charming, nicely decorated with beautiful lighting and in a convenient location in Rome. The area is "urban" and if you are comfortable in the east village in NYC you will feel fine there, if you need to stay on the upper westside you may not feel as comfortable. Vladimir met us there right on time and the previous tenants had left the place both late and in a real mess. He and the cleaning lady had it back in shape in a couple hours while we explored and grocery shopped. There is a great supermarket about four blocks away so that is very convenient for cooking. The apartment building is noisy, as others have commented on this site. All the floors are tile so evey footstep is pretty loud (and the upstairs neighbor has a fairly young child). The terrace is good for drying laundry, not so good for a morning coffee. Air conditioning works well, though the bedroom unit started leaking lots of water the third day of our week long stay and didn't get fixed until the day we left. The shower is very small. Once the door was closed I could not lift my leg to wash my foot (I'm a little over 6 feet tall). Internet worked very, if you plan to get up early and out every day, the noise may not be a factor for (email hidden) to cook and travel from if you are into the urban scene.

  • The apartment is cute, clean and cozy. Perfect location, 5-10 min walk to metro (Vittorio Emanuele or Manzoni) and Termini station. All questions you might expect are solving just in 5 mins by calling to the great hosts Marco and Vladimir. The flat is ideal for long-stay travelers, there are all facilities you can need. The only minus are the noisy neighbors in the flat right under, but only during the day time. Wouldn't you go to Rome to spend your time home-alone? :))
    *************

  • This was our first airbnb experience and we were not disappointed ! Marco (email hidden), very kind, helpful and happy to answer to the questions. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment which is cozy and lovely. Perfect for a couple who want to spend some time to visit Rome.
The flat is very clean, comfortable and close to the subway (10 minute-walk from Vittorio Emmanuelle and Termini) and to the tram. It totally tallies with the pictures and offer great facilities such as Wireless access which is very convenient when you need to find information about visits or good restaurant. We had a very great time in Rome and we would definitely recommend this apartment and this host !

  • We stayed at Studio Esquilino for almost two weeks and really enjoyed this apartment. The apartment is comfortable and has all the facilities you need: nice bed, clean bathroom, kitchen and fast internet. And the interior of this apartment is fantastic, with paintings and lots of beautiful things around! The location is very good also, it's five-minute walk to Termini train station, 15-minute walk to the sights. There'(email hidden) in the neighborhood, very worth visiting! And thanks to Vladimir and Marco for all the help and welcome! It was really great to meet you!
