Eugenia me dio mucho informacion todos el dias para ayudarme y ella esta muy paciencia! El apartamento esta perfecto, limpiar y en locasion excelente. Gracias Eugenia por un viaje memorable en Bueos Aires!
We really liked the flat. It is spacious, light, clean, airy and comfortable. Both the living room and bedroom are served by very silent air conditioners (though it was a hot weak, the flat is so fresh that we only used the air conditioners a couple of times, for few hours), the kitchen is big, beautiful and comfortable. As for the flat, the only negative remark we would point is that the kitchen is not well equipped with pans and cooking appliances. Their was only one midsize casserole pan, and even to fry an egg we had to improvise. In fact, it did not bother us because we were not cooking at the flat, but it is something to take into consideration if you are planning to cook.
Our experience with Eugenia and her mother was very very good, and I am sure she would have provided us with the necessary appliance had we requested.
We had book her flat in Recoleta, which is also a nice and big flat, well located. But the air conditioner of the living room was not operational, and it was impossible to stay there, because it was a very hot week and the flat is in the top floor. She was sorry and very helpful, she mentioned the flat in Las Cañitas, a neighborhood we had never heard of, but we decided to go for one night so we could look for alternative accommodation. But we liked it so much that we decided to stay the whole week, and we would stay there again. Las Cañitas is not far from the most touristic areas, and offers the advantage to the in a nice residential area, with all services availabe, very near the booming Palermo area and a lot of small restaurants, cafes, bars, bakeries etc. I recommend it.
The flat is perfect: First of all it is very nicely furnished, everything you need is there but there is no extra-decoration, which means that you don't have to endure somebody elses taste. I appreciated that (think what walls full of mona lisa or easy rider could do to your holidays...). Then the flast is perfectly situated - lots of nice food-shops around (the pasta place and the german-dutch bakery are fantastic... and the butcher...), lots of nice restaurants, coffee-shops and bars are within walking distance - you can always stroll out for a ice-cream or a drink. Very nice... And then there is this really really nice guy in the little supermarket on the corner, the one who sells fruit and vegetables: The second time you come, he treats you like a habitué and he tried really hard to speak italian with me while I tried really hard to speak spanish to him. We always had fun - and the tomatoes tasted much better after that. And finally there are Eugenia and her mother Adriana - they are nice, generous and very uncomplicated plus Eugenia knows a lot of very good tips - we followed her advice and discovered a very interesting, off-the-beaten-path-Buenos Aires.
Why would you stay in a hotel when you can stay in this great big apartment that has everything you need for quater of the price. We had a great time - the apartment is clean, big, bright and in a great location. For coffee and wine lovers go to the place 50m up the road to the right. Eugenia was also very flexible allowing us to Stay all day for late check out. I would defiantly recommend.
