  • Had a great stay with Seeta. We were there for Bluesfest and having been some 10 times in the past this was the best location for getting to the festival and the convenience of the local services. Seeta was very welcoming and helpful with local info. Would recommend to others. Cheers.

  • Mullumbimby seems to attract a certain "type" and this made Seeta's place a fun & welcoming place to stay. Everyone I met there was friendly and welcoming, as was Seeta herself.

When the house is full up, as it was my first night, it can be a tiny bit crowded. But it wasn't too bad and my next night, there was only one other couple.

Seeta's house is just a few blocks from the town, which is well worth a wander. I ended up in Mullum because Byron was booked out for the holidays but if I were to ever return, I think I'd probably avoid Byron and stay in Mullum/Lennox Head/Bangalow instead. The only thing you're missing in Mullum is the beach, but Brunswick Heads is barely a 10 minute drive away.

Pro (I mean, rookie) tip: use the aloe plants in front of Seeta's house to soothe any burns from the hot Australian sun!

It was a nice short walk into town.

  • We had an amazing time with Seeta, she was both incredibly accommodating and helpful. Mullumbimbi is a beautiful town, a perfect location for Splendour In The Grass. Four of my friends stayed here and we'd all recommend Seetas home to anybody!

  • Seeta was very kind and helpful. She picked me up from the local bus stop and showed me around town and I really enjoyed her company. Her place is within easy walking distance from everything you need. One drawback was that I found it was not quiet enough for me. Perhaps it is more suitable for a younger person who is not so sensitive to noise and who enjoys a more easy-going type of lifestyle.

  • The cozy, comfortable environment of Seeta's home can not be over-stated. She is a warm, inviting and trusting host and when we arrived we immediately realized we should have booked more time.

Her inviting and comfortable home is perfectly nestled in the valley town of Mullumbimby and if you have a car, you are in the perfect location to explore the area. With her great knowledge of the area, Seeta can direct you to the lovely options in the area and has an intuitive sense of what you might like to experience while visiting.

She has a few options available for you to stay and all of them are comfortable, clean and welcoming... Whether relaxing on the day-bed on the porch, hiking through the hills surrounding the town or taking a lovely drive through the winding roads all around this region of Australia, you will find some experience that you will never forget! If you are travelling through this area in the Spring, you will experience the majesty of this area at it's best with the blooming purple Jacaranda trees and the Yellow and Red of the others (I don't know all the names of the trees :)

I have spent a lot of time in this area over the last 10 years and I can say without hesitation, that Seeta offered me the most fulfilling and comfortable stay I have ever had... Her local knowledge and worldly understanding makes for great conversation and her lovely demeanour and welcoming attitude will make you feel instantly at ease.

We sincerely recommend contacting Seeta if you are thinking of travelling the area. We will not hesitate to visit her again on our future visits.

Thank you Seeta! We miss you!
