As anticipated, Jordan's home is both colorful and spacious! We did not have the chance to meet in person since I arrived at the end of a conference and she was out of town for the weekend but Jordan left great instructions for picking up the keys. There is a nice neighbor whom I met briefly on arrival and all sorts of fun things to do along Magazine Street, a short walk from the house. Really fun location and a wonderful home base for a quick weekend trip. Loved the recommendation for brunch at Coquette and enjoyed window shopping on Saturday. Jordan left beautiful fresh wild flowers in the bedroom and kitchen. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay - great kitchen and shower - hope to come back again!
Jordan has a beautiful and comfortable home. She was helpful in planning our arrival and the house itself is well located, only a couple blocks from Magazine street, which has a bunch of fun restaurants and bars to enjoy!
If you're looking for a place which will allow you to experience everything New Orleans and Magazine Street have to offer, then look no further. This home is in a prime location --- within walking distance to some of the most popular restaurants, bars, and shopping on Magazine Street. This home is beautifully decorated with an eclectic style and charm. After staying at Jordan's home and experiencing her hospitality, sense of home decor, and urban gardening, I'm thinking about launching a campaign so she can have her own show on HGTV. Do yourself a favor and book this place...you won't be disappointed.
It was our first time to use Airbnb. What a find. And speaking of find, Jordan's place is perfect. It is better than the pictures. Biggest shower I have ever been in. Exceptional clean. Literally around the corner from the best of Magazine Street. They even left treats! Highly recommend! We will try to rebook with Jordan the next time we are in town.
The photos just don’t do this place justice. Jordan’s rental is beautifully decorated, spacious and even “green”. The shower is ginormous, and there is enough sink and vanity space to accommodate hair and makeup for me and my three girlfriends. The kitchen is fully equipped with an impressive cookware collection, but you won’t need it. Jordan’s place is in the perfect location – a block from tons of great restaurants and bars on Magazine St. We didn’t have a car and got around just fine using public transportation and cabs.
Jordan was a responsive host. In fact, I emailed her for suggestions on where to go to ring in the New Year, and she responded with several great options. I took her up on the suggestion to see Soul Rebels at d.b.a. , and we had an fabulous time.
I would highly recommend Jordan’s place for anyone who wants to escape the pandemonium of the Quarter and experience the local flavor of New Orleans.

Louisiana food with local flair. Brunch on the weekends is a must - they have live music, $5 mimosas and a build-your-own bloody mary bar with all kinds of house made pickles and toppings!
One of the consistently best restaurants in New Orleans. French-American food prepared with a careful touch and stellar ingredients.
The sister restaurant to Lilette is really a wine and cocktail bar that serves small plates. Swanky mid-century style decor too!
Creative Latin/Caribbean cuisine that serves small plates and delicious cocktails. Food is fresh and prepared lightly which is a nice change from lots of New Orleans restaurants.
Friendly bar with lots of beers on tap and large, comfortable patio with outdoor seating. On Wednesdays, you can take home your pint glasses if you order a pitcher of beer.
Small neighborhood grocery within walking distance of the house!
Vintage, Consignment Retro clothes. Fun thrifting
T shirt shop that sells New Orleans-specific, screen printed tees.
New restaurant that serves smaller plates.
Delicious and refreshing Vietnamese food!
Recently recognized by Bon Appetit Magazine, Rouse's is the place to go for all the staples. They make Andouille, Boudin, and Tasso in house, and smoke meat and boil seafood daily.
