Our comfortable house, built in 1880 but renovated in 2010, is the perfect blend of modern amenities with older quirk and charm. Located in a quiet neighborhood, but easy walking distance to Magazine Street's bars, restaurants, and activity.
Located in a quiet neighborhood but situated at the convergence of the Irish Channel, Garden District, and Uptown our house is the perfect jumping off point for city exploration.
Thirteen hundred fifty square feet with 12 foot ceilings and hardwood floors throughout. Located in a safe, but exciting part of town, where uptown, the Irish channel and the garden district all meet, two blocks from Magazine Street's bars, restaurants and boutiques. Furnished with salvaged-wood, locally-made furniture, the house features a fully-equipped kitchen (sorry, no microwave), private backyard and comfortable amenities throughout. Private backyard and covered porch, garden with fresh herbs and greens. The house is 7 blocks from the streetcar line, and two blocks from the Magazine St bus that allows for easy access to downtown, the Superdome, and the French Quarter. Internet, but no tv - you won't have time for it anyway with all the experiences that New Orleans has to offer at your fingertips! The house is located on a corner, so there is plentiful off-street parking. Centrally located between the Universities and the French quarter.
Sleeps 2 very comfortably - one master suite with king-sized bed and private bathroom
Pullout couch in front room for extra guests
Interaction with Guests
As much as they need, but usually just via text/email. I only rent the house when I'm going out of town, so I rarely meet guests, but my neighbors are available in case of a guest getting locked out or are available to answer questions.
Easy to walk to lots of entertainment (bars, restaurants, shops
2 Blocks from Magazine St bus that goes downtown and French Quarter, 7 blocks from iconic St Charles streetcar

As anticipated, Jordan's home is both colorful and spacious! We did not have the chance to meet in person since I arrived at the end of a conference and she was out of town for the weekend but Jordan left great instructions for picking up the keys. There is a nice neighbor whom I met briefly on arrival and all sorts of fun things to do along Magazine Street, a short walk from the house. Really fun location and a wonderful home base for a quick weekend trip. Loved the recommendation for brunch at Coquette and enjoyed window shopping on Saturday. Jordan left beautiful fresh wild flowers in the bedroom and kitchen. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay - great kitchen and shower - hope to come back again!
Jordan has a beautiful and comfortable home. She was helpful in planning our arrival and the house itself is well located, only a couple blocks from Magazine street, which has a bunch of fun restaurants and bars to enjoy!
The real deal. This is a find. Jordan has created a great space in a perfect location. Lots of good choices with exquisite attention to detail and visual play. A delight. Highly recommend.
If you're looking for a place which will allow you to experience everything New Orleans and Magazine Street have to offer, then look no further. This home is in a prime location --- within walking distance to some of the most popular restaurants, bars, and shopping on Magazine Street. This home is beautifully decorated with an eclectic style and charm. After staying at Jordan's home and experiencing her hospitality, sense of home decor, and urban gardening, I'm thinking about launching a campaign so she can have her own show on HGTV. Do yourself a favor and book this place...you won't be disappointed.
It was our first time to use Airbnb. What a find. And speaking of find, Jordan's place is perfect. It is better than the pictures. Biggest shower I have ever been in. Exceptional clean. Literally around the corner from the best of Magazine Street. They even left treats! Highly recommend! We will try to rebook with Jordan the next time we are in town.
This location was well worth the stay. It's just minutes from Magazine street with about a dozen restaurants in walking distance. The apartment is beautiful and spacious with a garden in the backyard. I have already been recommending it to friends
The photos just don’t do this place justice. Jordan’s rental is beautifully decorated, spacious and even “green”. The shower is ginormous, and there is enough sink and vanity space to accommodate hair and makeup for me and my three girlfriends. The kitchen is fully equipped with an impressive cookware collection, but you won’t need it. Jordan’s place is in the perfect location – a block from tons of great restaurants and bars on Magazine St. We didn’t have a car and got around just fine using public transportation and cabs.
Jordan was a responsive host. In fact, I emailed her for suggestions on where to go to ring in the New Year, and she responded with several great options. I took her up on the suggestion to see Soul Rebels at d.b.a. , and we had an fabulous time.
I would highly recommend Jordan’s place for anyone who wants to escape the pandemonium of the Quarter and experience the local flavor of New Orleans.
