About This Listing
Lovely spacious studio with retro style and a big view over to Princes Park. Above a bustling vegetarian cafe and night time bar, only the view is peaceful! If you enjoy being part of a vibrant food and arts community, this is the place for you.
Spacious and stylish one bedrrom apartment in the centre of Launceston. Apartment overlooks a leafy park and is situated above a busy cafe and small bar. Amenities include fully equipped kitchen and a combined modern bathroom laundry.
Minimum 2 night stay, special requests for 1 night at a slightly higher rate can usually be arranged.
We have a regular check in of 2pm and vacate by 10am, but like to be flexible if bookings allow.
Nina's apartment is well located - an easy walk to central Launceston. The apartment is comfortable and the large windows with views across to the park are the highlight. The street noise can be moderate at times but that comes with the central city location - and the bed is really comfortable and we slept well. There are lots of alternative parking options and we did not find that a problem.
We loved our stay at Fresh apartment. The location is ideal and the place was clean and spacious, exactly as described. Parking is not really an issue as you can easily find spots nearby (as cheap as 60c an hour). Nina was very welcoming and made sure we were feeling like at home. She was also kind enough to recommend us the apartment as it has a separate bedroom from the street and we were travelling with a baby. Noise would not have been an issue anyway. Overall, a great experience!
One thing to note though, we were expecting a breakfast because that's what it said in the list of 'Amenities' at the time of booking (and still now) but were only given milk and fruits for 4 days. From past reviews, it looks like people were given eggs, bread, jam, cookies, etc. So we had to buy things ourselves at Coles. There is indeed a very good cafe downstairs but I believe it should be made clear on the listing that breakfast is not included. Breakfast inclusion can sometimes make people decide between one accomodation and another.
Fantastic location and the apartment was full of character as seen in the pictures. We loved the stay and felt the apartment was cosy and very spacious. The parking wasn't a problem and Nina was a fantastic host. You MUST have breakfast at her cafe: Fresh cafe. We had the South American breakfast and the Sweet Potato and Zucchini hash browns, with a Couple of shakes. It was absolutely the best and most phenomenal breakfast of our entire Tassie trip.
Very spacious and comfortable unit. Quiet area of Launceston. Close to supermarket and eateries. Easy to find parking nearby.
We had a great time in launceston.
The place was exactly as described. Nina was very helpful and accommodating. It was very much appreciated.
Nina has a fantastic place in Launceston. It's convenient, and to be honest the parking wasn't too much trouble if you're traveling around anyway. Unfortunate we did not have time to try out the bar and cafe, though the place does have ground beans and a moka pot :D It's full of character, clean and convenient.
