A Perfect Parisian Pad! Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you.
We had a great time. Wish we had more time. The apartment is very nice and the hosts were great.
Patrick's apartment is in a great location. It was clean, bright, well equipped and extremely comfortable. Check in and check out were both easy and convenient. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment for a stay in Paris.
Everything was exactly as described. The location was fantastic. Just 5 minutes to walk to a Metro stop, 15 min to Notre Dame and Saint Chappelle, and 5 minutes to Pompidou Centre.
Patrick was very patient to wait for us even though we arrived quite a bit later than expected.
Only issue was that there is a limited supply of hot water for the whole day. It only happened on one day, so we're not sure what happened.
Thank you Raymond for keeping our apartment in good condition. We really appreciate to host your family, and you are welcome back anytime.
Le Marais was the nice place to discover and explore the old and historical part of Paris.
Our apartment has its own tank for hot water, for ecological gesture daily, our apart is equipped a night time electricity meter, ie; the water begins to boil in the evening.
Since the tank is located in the apartment, Hot water runs instantly in less then 1 minute.
Patrick welcomed us with open arms and he made sure that we knew how everything in the apartment worked. Nam answered all our question via email without delay.
The apartment was very clean and we appreciated that there was even a choice of music for us to enjoy. We went very much at home in the apartment.
The location is fabulous, an area of Paris that we know quite well, but we still managed to discover some enchanting corners.
We certainly would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Paris.
Thank you Arla for your kind comment and you are welcome back anytime.
One thing is certain, you can't go to Paris and skip the Marais. It's very similar in feel to the West Village in Manhattan, with a different architecture of course, but the small crooked medieval lanes are alive with bars, restaurants, hotels, high and low fashion boutiques, trendy shops, hip designers, old fashioned bread shops, jewelry, wine shops, fashionable art galleries and museums all crammed into one small area.
Le Marais, ParisLe Marais is the closest you will get to the feel of medieval Paris and has more pre-revolutionary buildings and streets left intact than any other area in Paris. A glance at some of the beautiful buildings and houses indicates the wealthy status of the former residents.
The apartment was just what we expected: an efficient one-bedroom place with a location that can’t be beat!
For the two of us, this was the perfect place to stay for a week in the city. We walked to 80 percent of what we wanted to see, and the Metro was only five minutes away for when we wanted to travel further.
The kitchen was what we needed – enough to make quick meals and to store snacks and drinks. The wifi was outstanding! It was fast enough for us to watch videos and use multiple devices without slowdown.
As a host, Patrick was the best. He welcomed us personally and even gave us a bottle of champagne to start our birthday trip off in style.
The apartment’s best feature is being located in the heart of Paris. However, that also means there is noise at night, especially with the windows open. It didn’t bother us, but I could see how those who like things nice and quiet might be bothered.
Overall, we could not have had a better experience and we look forward to returning again.
Beautiful apartment and location. Modern appliances, tons of hot water, even free coffee. Our only complaint was the sightly elevated noise level from the street, but we were usually so tired from walking around that it didn't bother us at all.
Patrick and Nam are wonderful hosts. Merci and à bientôt!
Many thanks, Terry for your kind review. As you can see, our building is a historical building with the famous "turret", though our windows are double glazing and reduce some noise unfortunately not 100% :-), and our area is next to Notre Dame de Paris and also Musuem Pompidou. Patrick was glad to meet both of you and you are welcome back anytime. Merci.

Titi Parisian, I am a big fan of architecture, decoration, human contact, travel and good wine.
Through my travels I have discovered the different architectures in the world, it is wonderful how human being built the world.
I also learned that we have to always keep smiling because it is cheaper than electricity, and it illuminates life.
