This is a very small, but private, self contained room in the back of my garage that has all the amenities: bathroom, shower, small refrigerator, small toaster oven, microwave and tea pot. Sometimes that's all you need!
Very private and situated among bucolic pastures with gorgeous views of Taos Mountain and the valley. Best of all, its only 15 minutes from Taos Ski Valley (and Taos center). Sleeps two. Access to balcony and BBQ grill included! Wifi is sometimes spotty (this is rural New Mexico!). Did I mention it was small?
Three restaurants and one bar just one mile stroll down the road. Great staging point for hiking to waterfalls or beautiful canyon trails.
In the spirit of Homeric Hospitality, if you are traveling and out of money and just need a respite, a warm bed and a hot meal, please let me know and you can stay at no charge. Been there. :)

David's place was absolutely perfect and precisely as described in the listing! He was an incredibly kind and patient host, especially when my stupid self got lost and need to basically be led to his home! Totally my fault, but he spent a considerable amount of time helping me. Such a kind and gracious gentleman with a wonderful place for any visitor to Toas to stay!
The Squeeze Inn is exactly as described and pictured: a small room at the back of the garage. If you just need an economical place to sleep and take a shower, this is a great place. I particularly enjoyed the setting as there are lovely views and fields with llamas, burros, sheep and cows right on the property. As I was in New Mexico to do some landscape painting, this property was a perfect choice for me and I spent many hours painting right on the property. The was no need to go searching for interesting views, they were all around.
The property is one mile from the very small town of Arroyo Seco which has a nice little restaurant (Taos Cow.) The Squeeze Inn does have a bit of a "garage smell" - not surprising since one enters through the garage - but this can be alleviated by keeping the window opened as much as possible.
Edward, in his private remarks said the the "garage smell" was "not a big deal", and even though no one has ever mentioned this before, we have taken measures to ameliorate any smell that may have originated from the hanging flags of the world, bookshelves, food pantry and other items in the garage, for people with special sensitivities.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Squeeze Inn while visiting Taos for a weekend. The place is exactly as described. It is small but adequate and in a beautiful area. Everything felt and smelled very clean. Overall this is a great deal!
I booked the Squeeze Inn for 3 nights on very short notice. David was very prompt in accepting the booking. I'm very glad that he did. When we arrived he was very welcoming and he showed us to the room. It is small as advertised, but comfortable and met all of our needs. The place was very peaceful and a great location. It's a short distance to Taos and Taos Ski Valley. We very much enjoyed our coffee and breakfast on the balcony watching the lamas and donkeys in the field. It was a lovely place to take walks as well.
David and Kris were wonderful hosts! They were quick to respond to my questions and welcoming when I arrived. I was attending a weekend event at Taos Ski Valley and just needed a place to sleep and shower. The squeeze Inn was perfect for my needs. The room is very small, but the yard and surrounding area are large. The payoff for me came in the proximity to Taos Ski Valley. I was able to reach the parking lot of Taos Ski Valley after a short 10-15 minute drive. Arroyo Seco is a quaint little town. The neighborhood where the Squeeze Inn is located is beautiful and tranquil. I would usually arrive back to the room around 9:00 pm each night and it was totally quiet. I couldn't get over the view of the night sky. The location is removed enough from city lights that the night sky is abundantly illuminated by stars. The milky way galaxy is clearly visible, incredible! I will definitely stay here again for a Taos getaway. Thanks David and Kris!
Accommodations are a bit spartan, but the price is right, and the view outside is spectacular. I enjoyed sitting outside, reading, and watching the llamas, donkeys , and sheep. My only gripe (minor) is that I had to go outside to get WiFi, couldn't get WiFi in the room. Close to great hiking/skiing in Taos Ski Valley.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
