If you'd like to experience London as a local, look no further! My family and I live in a leafy residential area of London, away from the noise but also within easy reach to central London.
Our home is a semi detached 1930's built house which is quiet typical of this area of London. We have 3 rooms available to accommodate our guests. One of the rooms is a single, while the other two can accommodate up to 3 people. There is a dedicated guest bathroom which includes towels, shampoo and shower gel. We also provide all our guests with fresh linen and a hair dryer. All our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities so use of the kitchen is just to store your food in the fridge or borrow plates and cutlery NO FOR A COOKING. If at any time you feel anything else is missing, let me know and I am sure we could organize this. There is FREE wifi throughout the house. We are very flexible with check-in and check-out times, just let us know your requirements.
In terms of location, we are a short bus ride away from Ealing Broadway underground station (central line and district line) where a 20 minute train journey will take you into central London. Ealing Broadway hosts a number of restaurants and will cater to all your shopping needs. Our house is also 20 minutes by overground train from Paddington station. Heathrow is just a short 20 minute taxi ride away from us.
If you'd like to remain local, there are many options close to our house! One of Fuller's finest pubs is walking distance from us if you'd like to sit in the huge beer garden, have a sumptuous Sunday roast or just want to be part of history as this pub dates back to Georgian times. Pitshanger Village is also close by where you will find one of the best bakeries in West London as well as many delis, cafes and restaurants. The popular Pitshanger Park is also worth a visit for the wonderful views as well as a game or two of tennis. Other highlights include the River Brent, Gurnell Leisure Centre, Hanwell Clock tower in celebration of King George VI and The Spice of Hanwell restaurant.
We have done our best to try to answer as many questions as we could think of, however if there is anything more you'd like to ask please send me a message. We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to our home.

First of all I want to say Thank you Jelena! You've always been very helpful and you've done your best during my stay so I can feel like at home!
I spent one month in the single room at Jelena's house, the room is nice and very clean, the neighbourhood is really quiet. There's a lot of buses to go to Ealing Broadway and from that point it's easy to go to downtown London.
This month was great! Again thank you Jelena for all the work you're doing everyday in this house and for your guests!
My stay with Jelena is her room was absolutely fabulous. I felt very comfortable and both her and her husband were extremely accommodating of the bicycle I traveled with. They have helpful maps, recommended and helped me call a cab, and were genuinely sweet and lovely people! It is very easy to take the bus and tube from their home to central London and the slightly long trip is worth it to stay here. Would return in a heartbeat!
I had a very lovely stay at Jelena's. She was an excellent host and made me feel right at home. Everything about it was excellent and I have zero complaints. Everything you need is within walking distance and it is a very short bus ride to Ealing Broadway. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in London, specifically Ealing.
Yelena is a very friendly host , and very helpful ! The property is clean and situated in a lovely neighbourhood.
I had a great stay with Jelena and family in Ealing! Jelena made me feel instantly welcome and always made sure I was enjoying my stay. The room was clean and spacious with great facilities (tea/coffee, comfortable bed, television, wifi etc). The house is situated in a quiet part of London with great links to central via the central line and busses. I wouldn't hesitate to book a room at Jelena's house again. If you're looking for a room in London, this is the place for you.
Fantastic stay. Room and whole house was pristine and warm. Jelena and family were so welcoming and friendly and always willing to help. Couldn't recommend enough!
I was looking for a place to stay for 5 nights and I chose this place mainly because of the great price and also the fact that it had free on street parking.
The area is in a quiet residential estate which was close to a train line and buses. The best way to get into London is the bus to Ealing Broadway and then the tube. I tried the train first night but the service stops at 9:30pm so the bus is your best option. There are many buses which serve the area to-from Ealing Broadway so best to familiarise yourself with those. Ealing Broadway tube station has Central Line and District Line trains. It also has trains to Paddington, Reading & Heathrow.
The room was great and the bed was comfortable. Shower was also nice and hot.
The area itself is not that close to shops but Ealing Broadway has lots going on. I had a great curry at Monty's Nepalese restaurant one evening.
Jelena was a great host made me very welcome.
Overall, an excellent stay and worth another visit.
I stayed at Jelena's place for 10 days. Her house is great: clean, tidy and spacious. Jelena and her entire family are excellent hosts and make you feel at home in just seconds. I would strongly recommend her place !
A quiet, friendly and exceptionally clean house!! Jelena is the perfect host!
Re: location. The house itself is in a quiet suburban street but only a short bus-ride from Ealing Broadway/Central line tube
Very comfortable and very good value for money. Highly recommended!
