The apartment is just as gorgeous as in the pics and the neighborhood could not be more convenient if you're looking to stay in upscale Condesa. The guys were very considerate hosts. When the internet wasn't working, Francisco responded immediately and was persistent with the cable company until it was fixed.
Beautiful apartment in a beautiful building. Excellent location. Francisco and Rodolfo were excellent hosts and very easy to communicate with. Francisco met me at the door with the keys and info, and was there to help me check out. They held on to my luggage after check out, and Rodolfo gave me a ride to the airport. Would definitely stay again.
Francisco and Rodolfo were really wonderful hosts, available for anything and very friendly. The apartment was clean and well designed, tons of light, and located in the heart of a very cool neighborhood in Mexico City. Overall, this is a great pick and definitely recommended.
Some things to know:
- If you aren't used to city noise, earplugs are a good idea for sleeping. The apartment is located at an intersection that gets very noisy during early morning traffic hours.
- If you are imagining cooking extensively, this place probably isn't for you. The kitchen is not very well equipped: the pans are cheap and start to smoke with medium heat; the spatula melts as soon as it is exposed to heat. There are, however, wine glasses, plates, glasses, and anything else you might need for eating a take-away meal in the house.
The apartment is lovely and charming, in what must be the most beautiful building in the neighborhood. My plane was more than an hour late, but Rodolfo was nonetheless at the airport to meet me. There was some trouble with the electricity, but Francisco was over quickly to fix it. They make a great team. I look forward to my next stay. Muchas gracias y nos vemos pronto.
What a great apartment! Francisco and Rodolfo were terrific hosts. They were very responsive and helpful. Francisco helped us with advice for travel plans and dining and even called us a taxi for our departure. The apartment itself is lovely- just as it appears in the photos. The building is a really cool old art deco number so if you are into that, this is a really great place to stay. The neighborhood is terrific-lots of good restaurants, boutiques, parks, and markets within easy and safe walking distance. It is a city apartment so be prepared for some traffic noise. I slept with ear plugs in (as I'm not accustomed to city noise) and it wasn't a problem at all for me. It for the most part died down by around 9 or 10pm. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen setup was adequate for us as we mostly just had breakfast and snacks there and ate out for big meals. I'd love to come back and stay again sometime!
We had such a great stay at Francisco & Rodolfo's apartment. Getting in touch with him and checking was a breeze; Rodolfo arranged for a pick up form the airport which was very convenient. The apartment is exactly as shown... it's in a beautifully intact deco building, clean, and tastefully furnished with two lovely little balconies. The location was great; right in the middle of Condesa & Roma. It's on a beautiful street full of trees and close to tons of restaurants and cafes. I could not recommend him as a host more! Thank you!
Had a wonderful 7 day stay in Francisco's apartment. The neighbourhood and building are both beautiful and felt very very safe. We had excellent food/drink options nearby and became fast fans of the nearby cart which sold pambazos. The location provided a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of downtown without feeling isolated. On most days we spent our daytime hours touring the city and then would come back to the neighborhood at night. The apartment itself is beautiful and bright. Not going to lie it was difficult to leave and return to negative temperatures and a dark dank NYC apartment. Such is life. At least we had a perfect stay in DF.
