Welcome to Hong Kong, a buzzing metropolis by day and a neon galaxy by night. There is so much to do and explore and no better place to do it from than Wanchai.
It is the perfect location for you no mater why you have come to Hong Kong.
My apartment is cozy and well equipped with everything you'll need: soft sheets, fluffy towels, a mini kitchen, bathroom, TV, WiFi, guidebooks, and character. It is ideal for an individual or couple.
Smack in the middle of Hong Kong's shopping and eating centre, our apartment is a fantastic place from which to base yourself during your trip to Hong Kong.
My wife and I had a fun time preparing the apartment for your arrival and we have tried our best to anticipate what you will need during your trip. We are available to help you make the most of your stay!
Did I mention it is in a great location? It's only a:
500 meter walk to the Convention Center
200 meter walk to the MTR (HK's subway system)
600 meter walk to the famous Star Ferry
Note that the nightly price shown up there doesn't include the one time cleaning fee (I care about cleanliness so I hire a pro) and Airbnb's booking fee. Input your dates and click the 'book it' button to get the total cost of your stay. Ask if you have any questions. :)
In the studio bedroom/living room you'll find:
a double bed with a brand new very comfortable mattress (a little smaller than doubles in the West, it is 4' x 6'/180cm X 120cm)
a TV (Local channels -- 2 in English -- but hopefully you'll be too busy exploring the neighborhood to use it :)
free WiFi (super fast broadband network)
a quiet air conditioner
In the Kitchenette you'll find:
a Mini fridge
a single burner induction stove
an electric kettle
coffees, teas, snacks and drinks
beer and wine
a washing machine
In the Bathroom you'll find:
a hair dryer
220 volt outlets
a plug adapter for your gadgets (not a voltage converter)
heater/dehumidifier to help dry clothes
Interaction with Guests
The studio space is private– everything in the pictures is yours and yours alone. :-)
I'm happy to give recommendations for places to visit and local restaurants.
Causeway Bay and Wanchai are the heart of Hong Kong's consumer culture. Every square inch is filled with shopping malls, department stores, boutiques, market stalls, hole in the wall cafés, international restaurants and banquet halls.
Within walking distance of the apartment, you'll find almost every type of cuisine on the planet as well as the HK must try's: dim sum, roast meats, noodles and congee, cha chan teng (a unique fusion of Chinese/Western food), and snacks and desserts.
If shopping is your thing, you'll find the whole range: From bargains and nicknacks at the Jardine's Crescent street market and Spring Garden Lane, to affordable youth fashion boutiques in Island Beverly Centre, to the tech heaven of the Wanchai Computer Centre, to mid-priced and luxury goods in SOGO and Hysan Place, to the up market fashions found in Lee Gardens, Times Square and Fashion Walk.
You are also right next to Happy Valley, where you can enjoy a beer and watch a horse race on most Wednesdays.
It couldn't be easier to get to the apartment from the airport. The A11 bus picks you up at the airport and drops you off just downstairs from the apartment, and gives you great views of the city as you come into town. You can also get to the apartment by Airport Express (high speed train) and taxi.
The apartment is just a 3 minute walk from Wanchai MTR station (our subway system) and is serviced by Hong Kong's classic tramways and many bus lines. The famous Star Ferry is also just a short walk away.

Other Things to Note
Check in is after 2pm and check out is before 12 noon. I'm happy to accommodate early check in and late check out as long as I don't have guests arriving/departing on the same days.
Have fun, explore the city, eat shop and live life to the fullest.
You are free to use anything in the apartment, please make (email hidden) is an incredibly dense city, please remember the neighbors and don't be too noisy at night.
Absolutely no smoking in the apartment.
Try not to forget anything when you leave.
it is small but good value for money. It was clean and access to the flat was clear. Thanks Alex
the location is very good! if you take A11 bus from airport, the bus will drop you off 2 steps away from the building. extremely convenience. train station also few min walks. the space is good enough for 2 person, not too cramp.
Alex is a very nice person even thought i din meet him in personal. He's very helpful and quick reply on my question during the stay.
Overall awesome experience in hk and thanks for alex!
Great location. Easy to find with perfect directions from Alex. Close to MTR. Apartment is very small but expected from description. Linen on bed hadn't been changed since previous guests but found spare set in draw of bed so just used these. Rest of apartment clean and tidy. Elevator can be heard from apartment so use ear plugs if a light sleeper.
The apartment's location is great. Alex provided detailed instructions for entering the premises and the complimentary beer was great for a long day after traveling. I would definitely recommend this listing for people who just need a place to crash for a couple days. You couldn't get a better value.
Alex gave some very detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment which made it very easy to find. The studio apartment itself was clean and reasonably high spec relative to some other studios I've stayed in. Location is great - close to pretty much everything you need.
This is my first time using Airbnb and my first time staying by one of Alex's bnb. I highly recommend using Alex's bnb. Here are the many positives:
1) Alex was very responsive and helpful. Left some treats out in the apartment for me. A nice welcome I must say.
2) Easy bus ride from the airport to the front of the bnb. Only $40 HKD
3) The bnb includes everything you need plus more. Aircon, washing machine, stove top, fridge, very comfortable bed, wifi, great shower.
4) location is perfect. very close to the MTR, many restaurants in the area.
Only 1 negative.
If you are short like me (5'5"), the bed is perfect. If you are tall, I think the bed might be problematic.

I'm from North Carolina, but I've lived in Hong Kong for 11 years.
I love living in and travelling across Asia. You'll usually see me with camera in hand trying to blend in with the local culture, which is difficult for a tall white guy.
But, whether I'm treking across a desert or window shopping on high streets, I always love to meet other like minded free spirits.
My wife and I have really enjoyed preparing our place to be ready for guests. We hope you enjoy it. Please let me know if there is anything special I can prepare for your trip. :-)
As a host, I'll try my best to point out the colorful local scene, and as a guest, I'll I try to leave nothing but good memories.
