This is a fabulous one bedroom with a sitting area and a beautiful bathroom adorned with a spacious shower and bathtub. The room is bright and sunny, and elegantly furnished. There is free wifi and air-conditioning for the hot summer months as well as cable and of course a television. It is above the owner's living space, but it does have its own entrance and exit. It is located in the hill section of Burlington which is a very safe area, surrounded by mostly all residential homes.
The house is a five minute walk to the Chruch Street Marketplace, where you will find the best dining, shopping, and galleries in the area. It is also a fifteen minute walk to Lake Champlain and the waterfront amenities. There is parking available for two cars. The house is a lovely brick and cedar-shake victorian built in 1896, and has a large front porch for sitting and dinning. There is also a sizable backyard that has been charmingly landscaped where you will find a newly built gazebo and a collection of chairs. You can expect muffins, coffee and tea daily and if you arrive late in the night, a plate of local eats will be waiting for you.
Had a great one-night stay; the place was as nice, clean, and impressive as the pictures (but with updated flatscreen tv!), and Marc was a super friendly host, giving us plenty of ideas to enjoy Burlington. Even with temps below zero, we were close enough to walk to all the great restaurants, etc. Highly recommended!
We had a lovely two night stay at Marcs place. The accommodations were exactly as pictured and very clean, complete with interesting reading materials and décor. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom amazing with both a large stand up shower and soaking tub. It was nice to have a small refrigerator in the room. The space is peaceful and relaxing. Marc was really accommodating throughout our stay to any need or question that we had, even bringing up additional tea choices to be sure there was one I liked. The location was perfect. An easy walk to all Burlington has to offer and convenient to UVM. The neighborhood is nice, the house is pretty quiet, and we never once had an issue with barking dogs. We would definitely consider staying again!
We had an awesome time in Burlington over New Years Eve. We enjoyed this cozy, well appointed apartment just a 5 minute walk from all the action. Marc was very welcoming, responsive and helpful with restaurant recommendations. Would stay here again!
Marc was super friendly. The room was as great as it looks in the pictures, complete with coffee and tea. The bed was very comfortable, and the location is great -- a short walk to the main downtown area. Highly recommended!
Great location! A 10 minute walk to all the great restaurants and shops of downtown. The suite is nice and the shower has great water pressure!
Really enjoyed our stay! Marc was very helpful and kind. Will definitely stay here again when visiting friends in Vermont.

We are a friendly, cheerful, active family that has lived in Vermont for over thirty years. After my daughter Anna moved out of the house, I began to fill the empty space with twp small family members; meet our dogs: Ziggy a beautiful five year old Long Haired English Cream Daschund and Lucy a loving four year old black Havanese.
We absolutely adore traveling to destinations that allow for the most cultural experience. Through our travels we love to explore the arts and always try to bring a piece of our trip home with us. As avid readers, fans of film and jazz listeners, our home has a creative vibe throughout it.
After living in Burlington for so many years we are very eager to share our wealth of knowledge in your adventures and time spent around Vermont. It is so important to us that you feel the most at home in our home!
