The 7th Street / Metro Center Station is a mere 7 minutes walk once you step out of the door of our building. To explore Los Angeles further, this will lead to Union Station. This will allow you to access LA as it links you to other Metro Rail Service (Blue, Red, Green, Gold, and Purple Lines). From here you can go to Universal Studios, Hollywood and Highland, Kodak (future Dolby) Theater, Old Town Pasadena, Downtown Long Beach, etc.
The City of Los Angeles is VERY spread out. We have trains and bus lines, but it does take time to travel anywhere here because of how spread out the city is. For a bus/train schedule please go to (website hidden), routes and connections for in and around the city.
Several bus service around the building will allow you to reach the rest of LA like going to Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Miracle Mile, Disneyland, Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, etc.
In case you are planning to bring a car, 1 FREE PARKING spot is included in your stay!
In terms of check in/out we can be flexible and depending on the availability of the unit, you are welcome to drop off your luggage before the check in time and also store your luggage if you're leaving late. Just mention it beforehand so we can check the calendar and plan accordingly.
We just ask you to be respectful with our neighbors. No pets, smoking, drugs or overnight guests please.

NO FILMING OR PHOTO SHOOTS inside the unit or in the building. I respect and value the privacy of our neighbors and our listing is primarily for your accommodation "home away from home" spot here in Los Angeles and nothing else. If you are planning to do so, please look for another listing.
NO PARTIES! We have neighbors so you are required to keep the noise level to a minimum at all times. Quiet hours of 10PM-7AM are strictly enforced.

In one (ok, two) words: superb experience. The only difference between this listing and an upscale hotel would be the lack of room service:)). Noting, of course, that an upscale hotel suite in this location would be prohibitively expensive.
The location itself is worth it - literally next door to LA Live/ Staples Centre and surrounded by places to eat (from $ to $$$) and grocery shopping. Building is brand new with all amenities one could require including free use of the pool, gym and resident's lounge.
The flat is equipped in the style of an executive suite with all possible amenities and (very importantly for my boyfriend and I) was spotlessly clean. Kitchen is fully equipped and the view from the living and bedroom is great.
Al is a hands on kind of host and obviously takes his responsibilities very seriously indeed. He will check you in and out personally, the former process including a guided tour of the facilities and many very useful tips on eating, sightseeing and travelling in LA. Al stayed in close touch with us all through the days leading up to our arrival and was available via sms / phone at all times in case of need during the stay. His attention to detail with respect to guests' comfort is clearly evident - from fresh linen to tons of complimentary snacks and drinks.
As for recommending Al's place to other travelers suffice it to say that we have already decided on this listing for our next trip to LA and will look elsewhere only if it is unavailable.
FANTASTIC. Al is the definition of a perfect Airbnb host. Before and during our stay he communicated all the necessary details with us and made the booking and check-in process very easy.
My gf and I were in town for a convention at the LA convention center and the location of this apartment couldn't have been better. ~10 minute walk between the convention and the apartment made it easy to head back to rest in the middle of the day before heading back out.
The apartment is furnished with very comfortable furniture and a VERY nice bed/pillows. Al cares about his guests and you can tell with the way the apartment is prepared once you arrive. Great water pressure in the shower, super fast wifi, snacks and drinks in the fridge when you arrive....all of it made our stay very enjoyable.
The whole building has some wonderful amenities like a pool/gym/pool table and is very secure with parking right in the building.
If you are looking for a place to stay in downtown LA near the convention center/Staples Center, stop looking and book this place! I would happily recommend it to anyone.
Al was a fantastic host, he was so communicative before we arrived and was there on time to show us where to park. The flat is amazing- it's got such an incredible view that we really weren't expecting to be as great as it is in the photos. Everything was very clean and ready for us to use and there wasn't anything he'd forgotten about. The apartment complex was so amazing that we nearly wanted to spend all our time there instead of heading out to see the sights (which are easily reachable from the flat). I would HIGHLY recommend this flat to anyone travelling to LA.
My stay was everything and more that I had hoped. The apartment was perfect, location a total dream for where I needed to be and Al was so accommodating, welcoming and thorough. I cannot speak highly enough about my experience and almost wish I could just lived here!!! I don't understand why anyone would stay at a hotel if you could stay here it is 10 times better!!
My daughters and I were in town for an event at LA Live. Al's place is a block away which made it perfect for our needs. The apartment is very nice and the amenities are 5 star hotel quality. Al is an excellent host! Our stay was stress free. He welcomed us, showed us around the property and gave us great tips on places to eat and visit. I would definitely stay at Al's place again.
My girlfriends & I stayed in this gem of a unit in DTLA.
From the start, Al was a thorough host; he made sure we discussed all aspects of our stay AND answered every question I had for him.
Although the photos included are accurate, seeing the unit (and the building) in person exceeded our expectations; they were clean and modern and beautiful. My girlfriends tasked me with the responsibility of finding a place, and they both squealed with delight; it was love at first sight, for sure. We loved the sleek and European feel of the interior; the bathroom had more than enough room for THREE(!!!) girls getting ready, all at the same time, for days and nights around town; the building's amenities were amazing (pool and hot tub and gym with city views -- enough said!); the lobby/lounge look like they're straight out of a magazine; and that view, we're still dreaming about that view!
Also, the building is very safe. Every entry needs a digital reader, and our floor can be accessed only IF we have a digital reader (fob). Parking is inside the building, which is such a great thing in DTLA.
Speaking of which, we were in the heart of this vibrant part of LA. When they say steps to LA Live, it true! It's only a short block away. There are food stores, Target, coffee shops within a couple of blocks (very walkable), and the Pantry is just across the street. Al sent me a text of a list of the best places to eat around the neighborhood, and both Al & Nate had suggestions for places as far as Malibu. Most importantly, for me, Bottega Louie was a short walk or a very, very quick drive away.
Al and Nate are a great team, very accommodating and understanding. If Al wasn't available, Nate always was, so we never had to worry about their accessibility. They made our visit in LA & our stay in the unit comfortable, fun, and hassle-free. We will, for sure, use them again on our next visit; we've already spread the word among our family and friends, singing their praises.

I love Los Angeles! I've been living here for over 15 years and also working in Downtown LA for 10 years. It has been a yearly thing wherein I have a lot of guests coming over to see LA. From cousins, friends, schoolmates and co-workers from pasts. Everyone I know, knows that if they are visiting, I am the one to call if they want to see LA. :)
We aim to give a hassle-free, comfortable and relaxed stay for our guests. I think that is one of the secret why we are consistently getting 5 STAR RATINGS AND GREAT REVIEWS from ALL our previous guests.
