Located in a neighborhood just outside of the city centre, the room is a quiet spot off the beaten tracks and a typical familiar atmosphere is still around. Nearby you can find basic shops: bars, restaurants and pizzerias, a large supermarket and a street-market for fresh food, mini-market opened till late evening. Moreover, a sporting center equipped with a swimming pool and Villa Pamphili, one of the largest and ancient park in Rome. In a walking distance is even located Ergife Hotel, venue for important conferences and meetings.
Easy and fast connection to the city centre (20 minutes) both via metro (line A, Cornelia) and buses. Stops located in a distance of about 5-600m (10 minute walking).
Transfer to and from Ciampino and Fiumicino airports by metro and buses in 1 hour; Termini station at 20 minutes.

I felt really comfortable at Monias apartment because she was so friendly, kind and helpfull. She even let me to leave my luggage in the apartment on my last day so I was able to see the city one last time before going back home. It was nice that for breakfast Monia had bought cereals, milk, juice, cookies etc.
The apartment was clean and cosy. It was easy to go to the center by bus and metro. My room was big for just one person and I really loved to eat dinner in the balcony!
I would definitely stay at Monias place again! :)
This is a second hand review since I wasn't actually there but booked the place for a friend of mine, but the whole experience was wonderful. Monia was super helpful from the start, and she was a great support and a good friend for my friend.
Monia and her place are wholeheartedly recommended if you want to feel comfortable in Rome!
We felt warmly welcome by Monia - she is really a wonderful host. She had even prepared a tea, bisquits, cereals and milk for breakfast, preheated our room and gave all possible advices and suggestions as regards to transportation around Rome. The advise of using the regional bus to Fiumichino airport which departs almost right at the door steps was priceless. We highly valued the opportunity to cook our meals in Monia's kitchen and dine on the balcony. The surroundings of the house is perfectly safe not only because of security measures but also for people living in this Vatican area. All the necessary shopping is in s apartment to other travellers, too.
I would definitely recommend Monia's house to anyone and the cat was very nice to me.
Although I couldn't meet Monia in person as she was away in Greece, the stay at her place was very comfortable. She provided with all the useful information via email (she was very fast in response and she gave instructions on how to get to the airport via bus which was very useful) and her friend was present on the first day to let me into the house and provide all the necessary information. Her house is a bit far from the center but is well connected via bus and metro and the neighborhood is quite safe as the apartment building is owned by her family. It was very kind of Monia to prepare some food that I could have for breakfast. You would have a chance to meet her cat Gigi which is very friendly. Overall, I was very satisfied with the stay and would love to come back to stay at her place again!! Thanks Monia!! :)
We had a great time in Rome, and the apartment was everything we needed plus Andrea was really helpful
