Gumusluk is one of the quite area in the Bodrum Peninsula. Less crowded and more local. Our homes are situated on the grounds of an ancient city, known as Myndos therefore Gumusluk is protected against developments. And the villagers are some of the friendliest people you have ever met. So if you are ready for less touristic more local experiences our place is just perfect for you!
PLEASE SEND ME A MESSAGE FOR LONG STAYS FOR AUTUMN AND WINTER, WE HAVE GREAT DEALS!
Ayfer is a fun, warm and welcoming guest. I felt like we met a new friend straight away.
The apartment is so beautiful, the photos don't do it justice. The views are incredible, and everything we needed was catered for. Te property was clean, simple, and perfect for a holiday in Gumusluk.
If you are looking for a calm, scenic break, in an authentic bit of Turkey on the Aegean, leave Turgutreis behind. Come and stay here.
We passed in the house of Ayfer a great holiday.
The place is lovely, the sea view is really relaxing. In the evening it was very nice have dinner watching the sunset and listening to the rustle of the wind through the trees.
Nothing has disturbed our vacation. Ayfer and his beautiful family were very kind. We recommend this place to anyone who has the desire for tranquility and beauty.

Magical place to stay. Loved every minute of it! Ayfer was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The house is basic but has everything you could need and was nice and clean. The garden is shared by three properties but it didn't feel crowded and was a wonderful place to sit and admire the incredible view of Gumusluk and the sea.
We had an amazing stay at Ayfer's cute little apartment.
It was perfect for just the two of us, with a view to die for - the ocean and habour right in front of your nose.
The garden is such a lovely place to hang out and in our case very nice neighbors.
Ayfer herself is a very sweet and helpful women with adorable kids.
The village, Gümüslük, was too an amazing place to be - with kind and loving people all around you.
We could not have had a better stay and hope to come back next year!
We had a GREAT time at the house. Perfect location, and it the house stayed cool even with it being hot outside. Can't beat the view! We had everything we needed, and Ayfer was an excellent host! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.
We stayed at Ayfer's place for one week in july 2013, and it was an amazing experience. The house is situated perfectly on a hill overlooking the beautiful small harbor town of Gümüslük, and is a perfect place for staying if you are looking for peace and romance. The house is an old cosy villa with a lush gaden and has all necessary amenities. Ayfer is a wonderful and friendly local host with a warm heart and great hospitality. Her English is also very good so communication is easy. There are two flats on the ground floor so bear in mind that you will have neighbors sharing the garden unless you book them both. We stayed in the smallest one (perfect for couples) but they are both really nice flats. We can highly recommend this place to anyone, unless you're looking for party-then we suggest you find a place in Bodrum instead... :)
Wow. We so loved our short stay in Ayfer's little piece of paradise. Waking up in Gumusluk, and going to sit on the patio to watch the beautiful bay was the perfect follow up to a week in hectic Istanbul. The short walk down the hill to the town was an easy way to get in some beach time, food, and socialization. But really all we wanted to do was sit in the apartment's hammock, drink tea, and admire the view! Ayfer was a great host and was very helpful. We truly loved it here and cannot wait to come back!
We have just spent two lovely nights here at Ayfer and Surat's apartment and would love to have spent more time here. It was just what we were looking for, peace and quiet with a beautiful, relaxing view out over the sea and chair/hammock to relax on and enjoy a beer/glass of wine whilst the sun sets. The flat is simple and had everything we needed and is also lovely and cool and just a five minute walk down to the beach, shops and restaurants of sleepy Gumusluk. Ayfer also kindly left some food to cook for our first night there and both she and Surat are incredibly hospitable and friendly. Had we not had to stay in Bodrum for a wedding for first half of our trip, we would definitely have spent the whole week here if we could!

Our stay at Ayfer's garden and sea view rental in Gümüslük was just what we needed and wanted. It was heaven to be able to sit back and relax after exploring the bigger and busier cities of Turkey (Istanbul, Izmir), sites like Ephesus and Pergamom. The view was the best and it looks just like the picture she has published. When we arrived, she offered to take us on a tour of the beach side, restaurants and shops just down the hill and steps, which was really helpful and informative. The day of arrival we got a bit lost due to a signage change but Ayfer guided us in via text. Also, our GPS did not pick up the location properly. The rental has a full kitchen which we took advantage of. We walked to the beach side bakery and shops for fresh food to prepare but also dined out twice. Daily, I walked/hiked up the distant hillside for some great views and distance. She and her family are adding wood decking areas just in front of the 2 units. It was perfect for morning yoga practice! All in all, it was much more than we expected. We made a wonderful friend, and got to know her family. Her children also made the stay very special and lots of fun. Highly recommend this spot if you want to be away from the heavy traffic and touristy centres.
