Back to France, I'm rushing on internet to leave a message on Mary's offer. We had a very good couple of nights in Galway. The house is lovely and we feel there like home. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood of Galway. The room is lovely, large, clean and the bed very comfortable. Furthermore having its own bathroom is very convenient! The breakfast was a must and includes much more than what you can eat or even dream to eat. Allison and Mary were both very kind and helped us to plan our stay and our travel by providing advices on destinations to visit, on place to hear traditionnal Irish music and so on. Thank you so much!!
Our stay at Mary´s place was great. Mary was a lovely host and gave us much information about Galway and Connemara where we were heading the second day of our stay. We enjoyed a great breakfast every single morning and Mary told us some interesting storys.
We had a nice room with sea view and the bed was very comfortable. The house were just 10 minutes away from Galway City Centre.
We hope to see you again someday!
Room was as described and very comfortable. Mary was an excellent host, very welcoming and great to chat with. Highly recommended.
Mary is a very nice and particularly professional b&b host who is prepared for every kind of questions or needs you might have. The room with bathroom is solid, and there often seem to be one or two students staying in one of the other rooms. The breakfast is perhaps a little basic, but that's ok for the price she offers. We would recommend this place for any stay in the neighborhood of Galway.
Mary was absolutely fantastic. She gave a great suggestion for dinner and was lovely to talk to. We wish we had more time with her. The breakfast was fantastic and the room was perfect. She is a wonderful host.
Mary was an absolute riot. Think of her as a cheeky tour guide with great insider (and honest) information on where to go, where to eat and how to truly enjoy Ireland. Her home was lovely, and she was so eager to provide breakfast in the morning prior to our activities. Thank you Mary for a wonderful stay in Galway.
Very welcoming and hospitable host. Quiet house in a quiet area with easy access to city, grocery and shopping. Comfortable room and bed. More than met our needs.
I am from Galway and also have a Cake business from home. I also take foreign students and enjoy having them in my home. I have travelled a lot as I was in the travel industry for over 40 years. I still enjoy travelling when I get time. Also enjoy just walking on the promenade in Galway which is so lovely. I like reading, music, computers
