My home has renovated floors, windows, roof, insulation, paint, patio, and jacuzzi. Ocean views are indescribable city lights & Catalina Island. Sit by the fire pit or the new salt water (wow so good on your skin) jacuzzi and watch crackling flames. I believe you will find peace and beauty here. PLEASE respect my home. The space
I love living in Malibu and have decided to try renting entire home out. We loved this house and property from the first moment we saw it many years ago! It is a place to relax and refresh from the activity of the city and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature. The guest room is comfortably furnished and inviting. The private bath features bright lighting, onyx tile work and modern fixtures. Enjoy Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Wi-Fi, kitchen/laundry access and patio dining. We offer as little, or as much, interaction as guests prefer. Tobacco smoking and vaping on the patio are fine, but no marijuana please. (The odor is carried on clothing back to the guest room which cannot be aired out and made fresh adequately prior to the next arriving guest.)

Guest access
You will have a choice of 4 rooms to sleep in with 1 king, 2 queens, 2 twin (or single) beds. You are welcome to use the outdoor areas, living room, kitchen and laundry. Please feel free to make basic meals if desired, or bring in take-out. You may park in the driveway and there is a level 2 charger for electric vehicles. The hot tub overlooks the ocean and is a great way to end the day. A water filtration system provides soft water throughout the house. Cellular service can be limited in the mountains of Malibu. Therefore we recommend that guests connect their devices to our WiFi network.

Other things to note
This is a private rental. At the beginning of your stay I will stock pantry and refridgerator with breakfast items like coffee, tea, fruit, yogurt and cereal. If you have special preferences or dietary needs please feel free to bring your own.

Neighborhood highlights

A winding road takes you up the mountainside approximately 1 mile to our home. Once there, the city vanishes and nature abounds. Travel by car 15-20 minutes to beaches, Cross Creek shopping center and hiking trails. Private security patrols the community at lease twice a day and our property is gated. The front door is the main access and guests come and go as they please. Special note, this is not a location for filming videos.

I have enjoyed living in Malibu for over 32 years. My home overlooks the Santa Monica Bay in the Big Rock area of Malibu. Guests find my property serene and they enjoy the natural environment here. Feel free to enjoy the new salt water spa, outdoor fire pit, and Trager barbeque. The kitchen is equipped with all the modern convivences you will ever need. You can look forward to both day and night activities in Malibu and Santa Monica.
