We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment. Through the blue door, up the winding green staircase, into a quiet haven on an idyllic Parisian street. The layout of the apartment is very comfortable, and it is beautifully renovated -- modern with historical touches preserved. Just outside the door are an excellent bakery, cheese shop, market, diner, chocolatier, church bells, pigeons -- all you could want. A few doors down, we found a perfect neighborhood restaurant called Sorza -- such a friendly place, we went twice in a weekend. Eduardo was a great host and negotiating the stay with Vinicius and Arthur via email was a breeze. Highly recommended on all fronts.
The apartment, beautifully designed,is located in the fabulous Isle St. Louis, the most beautifull quorter of Paris.
Edouardo was extremely kind and helpfull
We enjoyed our stay at this apartment, the location is simply the best, central to all the sights, close to multiple subway lines, excellent shops and restaurants and safe. The apartment is clean, quaint and charming, its a bit of a climb up the narrow stairs and might be a little difficult for older people. The apartment is comfortable, the bed is great, the space is nice for 2 people, the television has a couple of english news networks. We stayed in late November and even though the weather outside was mild, around 40F, and the heat was on, the living room and bathrooms were a bit cold for us, its possible the temperature is normal for europeans but for us (from NY) we prefer it a little warmer. The bedroom was comfortable and we were warm at night. The walls are thin so you hear the neighbors, one of which likes to play the flute, this didn't bother us as it was quite quiet compared to New York city. We
had one other small issue with our stay, there was only one half roll of toilet paper in the apt, not such a big deal but we didn't notice it until 2am when no stores were open. All in all , we loved Paris and the apartment although a bit chilly and pricey was a wonderful place to stay.
This is a beautiful, sleek, and incredibly well-located apartment. We liked staying on (website hidden). Louis, even though it was packed with American tourists on the weekend -- but we were elsewhere exploring the city during the days anyway. We had great French comfort food for 9.5 euros at a restaurant that is just around the corner from the apartment (turn right out the door, then left on the first street, it is on the left -- and do spend another 9 euros to split one of their incredible huge desserts). We liked being right next to Notre Dame -- we looked at its amazing exterior every evening, and picked a time with virtually no line to go inside the incredible cathedral. We never did brave the line for the tower tour. The French museum pass was a great purchase -- we skipped the lines at museums it covered, and could make multiple trips to the Louvre (which is less mobbed on the 2 nights it is open late). The most memorable site of our entire trip is free: be on the Concourde bridge at 10 or 11 pm when the Eiffel tower twinkles. Amazing.
We did enjoy the Il St. Louis location. The hosts were quite reactive.
Beautiful and modern appartment. We greatly enjoyed our stay at and Vinicius and Eduaro were very easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions we had. The shower is great - huge for what you typically find in other apartments in Paris. Bedroom was comfortable and quiet. Was very happy with the cleanliness of the apartment. Would definitely reccommend a stay at this apartment.
