A 42-square-metre apartment recently designed and renovated by architects who value good taste and comfort.
The apartment is located on the third floor of an old seventeenth century building on the Island of Saint-Louis. With modern and cosy décor, wooden floors throughout, a table with 4 chairs, a fully equipped Carrara marble American style kitchen containing: fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer, induction hobs, microwave and conventional oven, Nespresso coffee maker, food mixer, kettle, toaster, crockery and general kitchen utensils.
The television, installed behind a mirror, works using a reflection system. High speed fibre optic internet WIFI and telephone with free calls to fixed lines in Brazil, USA and the whole of Europe.
The bedroom, with a queen-size double bed, has a spacious wardrobe. A large steel and glass door opens into the living room and completes the charm and originality of the environment. The bathroom, with access to the bedroom, has a large mirror and spacious Italian-style shower. Separate toilet and wash basin, with a window to the interior of the building.
The island of Saint-Louis is the most famous district in Paris. It is located in the heart of the city, behind Notre Dame Cathedral. Countless restaurant, café, ice-cream parlour, bistro and small business options add charm to this unique and magical place. The Island of Saint Louis is within walking distance of the city’s most authentic districts: Marais, Saint Germain des Près and the banks of the River Seine. Subway, bus and bike hire (Velib) are less than 5 minutes away.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For all bookings you will find the apartment clean and tidy, perfectly ready for your stay. We ask that the apartment be returned clean and tidy, as it was received. The cleaning service is not included on price and you can ask us separately.

How does the security deposit work?
A security deposit must be paid on the day of your check-in either in cash or by pre-authorisation of funds on a credit card (visa or mastercard).
This deposit serves as collateral to cover, proportionally, any damage caused to the apartment or building, such as:
- Loss of keys
- Damage to household appliances resulting from misuse
- Loss or breakage of utensils in general
- Damage to the floor, walls, doors, or stairs, etc.
- Damage to furniture, decorations or utensils
- Stains or tears in bedroom or bathroom linen
- Fines relating to improper behaviour with respect to neighbours and damage to common areas of the building
- Delays in the agreed times for check-in or check-out
- If the maximum number of people allowed on the confirmation voucher is exceeded
Important note: the apartment must be handed back in the same condition as it was found on arrival. If not, a deduction may be taken from the security deposit. If, at the end of your stay, the apartment is in the same condition, your security deposit will be refunded entirely. Any damage, fine or poorly kept cleaning shall be deducted either in whole or in part.
The security deposit is paid to airbnb and refound 48 hours after your check-out.
A cleaning fee must be paid on arrival for the final maintenance of the apartment. If deemed necessary on check-out, there shall be an increase of 20 euros for each additional hour of cleaning. The cleaning fee is 50 euros. It does NOT include removal of garbage and food (food remains, plastic bags and belongings left behind), washing up of used or improperly cleaned kitchen utensils.

Bedroom and bathroom linen
The following are included for 2 people or 1 bed
- 1 large sheet 180x200cm
- 1 large duvet cover
- 2 square pillowcases
- 2 large towels
- 2 small towels
- 2 bathroom rugs
Basic personal hygiene products (soap, shampoo and toilet paper)
Basic general cleaning products (1 kitchen towel, detergent, sponge, disinfectant, etc.)
Important note: bedroom and bathroom linen are washed and cleaned industrially by a private company. If an extra package of linen is requested, an additional fee of 20 euros will be charged.
Check-in / Arrival:
The estimated time of reception must be advised by e-mail no later than 3 days before the ARRIVAL DATE, if possible we ask that it be advised 1 week before.
Flight/train details are essential to manage any delays.
ARRIVALS BY PLANE: we allow 2 hours after the landing of your plane if you make the journey by taxi/transfer; 3 hours if you make the journey by bus or train
ARRIVALS BY TRAIN OR BUS: we allow 90 minutes after the arrival at the station if you make the journey by taxi/transfer; 150 minutes if you make the journey by bus, subway or on foot.
Any other delay must be communicated by telephone, otherwise the maximum waiting period is just 30 minutes after the agreed check-in time. After this period, an increase of 20 euros per hour will be charged. Arrivals after 7:30 p.m. will be increased by 20 euros and arrivals after midnight will be increased by 40 euros. The keys will be handed over on:
- Signing of the contract
- Provision of a copy of the passport (please bring a copy with you)
- Payments: security deposit, cleaning fee or outstanding rent
- Time for DEPARTURE DATE
Important note: it is indispensable that, on the day of check-in, 20 minutes are made available by our clients for the explanation of the functioning of the apartment.
WARNING: Delays or bringing forward of the time agreed for check-in must be advised by telephone. We will not wait for arrival at the apartment if outside the agreed time.
Check-out / Departure:
The scheduled time for check-out must be respected. The apartment will be checked on definitive departure following your stay. Once the apartment has been checked and found to be in the same condition, your security deposit will be released in full. Any damage, fine or poorly kept cleaning shall be deducted either in whole or in part.
Terms of the apartment:
- Age limit: only those 18 years of age or older, or accompanied by such
- Smoking is not permitted in the apartment, nor in the communal areas of the property. * exceptionally on balconies or in yards
- Pets are not permitted in the apartment
- Water, gas, electricity and internet: included in the price * unless specified in the contract
- Cleaning: the apartment in handed over to the visitor in conditions which are clean and fit for stay.
- GROUPS celebrating bachelor parties/stag nights or GROUPS that come to watch football matches will not be accepted.
- Bookings are not accepted from people that come to carry out illegal activities or to receive guests during their stay in the apartment.

Beautiful apartment in a great location with all the amenities of home (if your home is a 5-star hotel inside of an historic Parisian building!). The best part about the location is that you get to know the neighborhood and the winemonger, the cheese guy, and most important the boulangerie. Our liaison, Leandro, was very welcoming and quick to respond to our queries. In fact, he was able to accommodate us for two extra days when our flight was canceled. Highly recommend.
My husband and I just stayed in this beautiful apartment for a week and it was absolutely perfect for us. We were met by Leandro when we arrived and he showed us around and explained everything we'd need to know during our stay. The apartment was a great size for 2 people, compact but not tiny, and had every comfort you could need.
My only complaint was that it was a bit too cold inside for my liking (but I am Australian and not at all used to a French winter!) - I would have been more comfortable if the apartment could have been heated a little warmer. That said, the bed was very warm so we were nice and cosy at night.
The apartment is up 3 flights of stairs, a crazy little circular stairway that was a bit hard to navigate with our bags but not a huge issue.. it may be tougher for older guests though.
Having a washing machine was a big plus for us, it's great to be able to wash clothes as you go rather than having to do it all when you get home. There were a couple of English news channels which was great, and music channels that alternated between English and French language music.
L'Ile Saint-Louis is centrally located and an easy walk from Le Marais and Saint-Germain - there was lots of shopping and eating options close by. We didn't bother with the metro at all - we were able to walk most places and only got a cab a couple of times (they are a lot cheaper than Aussie cabs!). Notre Dame is just on the next island and you can hear the bells chiming from inside the apartment, pretty surreal.
One of the most famous/best ice-creameries in Paris (or the world!) is right outside the front the door, and there are also bakeries, patisseries, cheese and meat stores right on the street. All food groups were covered!
All in all we had an excellent stay - Paris is such a beautiful city, every corner you turn offers breath taking scenery.. I really hope we'll be back soon and wouldn't hesitate to stay in this apartment again.
What a wonderful experience all round. Our four night stay in Ile Saint Louis was ideal thanks to Vinicius & Eduardo's beautiful modern apartment in an old building. Just as the pictures show only better with the atmosphere that you soak in as soon as you arrive.. A true Parisian lifestyle, just as we imagined. Mariane met us and was very professional yet friendly. She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable with everything in and around the apartment. Even gave us tips on where to find the best ice cream! It's well serviced, clean with everything you need, yet uncluttered.
We'd definitely love to come back.

My son and I just returned from a week long stay in Paris. The apartment was absolutely perfect! Central location ( got quite busy at times, but apartment was perfectly quiet with windows closed). Vinicius and Arthur were easy to work with, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to relax after our long days of exploring. There are three steep flights of stairs to reach the apartment, but it wasn't a problem for us. We will definitely look forward to staying here again!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment. Through the blue door, up the winding green staircase, into a quiet haven on an idyllic Parisian street. The layout of the apartment is very comfortable, and it is beautifully renovated -- modern with historical touches preserved. Just outside the door are an excellent bakery, cheese shop, market, diner, chocolatier, church bells, pigeons -- all you could want. A few doors down, we found a perfect neighborhood restaurant called Sorza -- such a friendly place, we went twice in a weekend. Eduardo was a great host and negotiating the stay with Vinicius and Arthur via email was a breeze. Highly recommended on all fronts.
