I stayed at Eric's place for 6 weeks while I was looking for a permanent place in San Francisco. Eric was very attentive and friendly, and always available when I needed something or had a question. The neighborhood was perfect for being new to the city and commuting to SoMa for work, with Muni and bus transportation very close by. I'm so glad I chose this neighborhood over anywhere else. The apartment was spacious and had everything I needed.
Only drawbacks really -- the street was a bit noisy outside the bedroom window being directly on Fell. And if you have a car, street parking can be difficult in the neighborhood.
We were very satisfied staying at Eric's place. We are a family of four and fit comfortably in the space. The bathroom and kitchen were clean and well equipped. There are small markets and cafes within 2 blocks, and more restaurants, bars, and markets within 4-7 blocks. We got around very easily to any point in SF via bus - they are frequent near the apartment, on Fillmore and elsewhere. The neighborhood feels safe. Eric responded immediately when we had one minor issue.
I've stayed in Eric's place with my wife and my dog and it was very good, great neighborhood, comfy apartment. There's a wash and fold at the corner, a Laundromat two blocks away, very close by Zipcar garages around, and lots of good restaurants.
The only downside is that there's not much windows, only on the bedroom and kitchen. But if you don't plan to stay in for long times that is not a problem. On the bright side Alamo Square is awesome and very close.
I spent 4 months at the Eric's apartment. Great place and location. Eric was always available for anythings, a very good guy and super-friendly! I definitely recommend anyone to stay in Eric's place!
