Located on the Wild Atlantic Way 15 minutes west of Kinsale, this fully restored late C18th cottage is a perfect location for exploring West Cork. Three minutes walk from scenic Harbour View beach with easy access to the Old Head of Kinsale. Fully heated, this is a perfect place for any season.

The space
Originally a gate-keeper's cottage, surrounded by mature trees with outside seating area/patio. Completely self-contained. Wood-burning stove for cosy evenings. Fully heated for chillier weather, so perfect for all seasons.

Guest access
Entire cottage available with adjacent off-road parking and it's own small garden and patio. Cottage is located right on the Wild Atlantic Way R600 between Kinsale and Courtmacsherry.

Other things to note
We provide basic cooking supplies as well as a welcome basket of tasty treats. Meals can be provided by prior arrangement. Cosy centrally heated space with wood burning stove as well, so lovely to stay all year round. Feather and down duvet and pillows. Towels, shampoo etc provided. There is an HD TV screen available for streaming - you will need to sign in to your own streaming services. We have have wifi via mobile broadband. This is available free of charge. You can also connect to free wifi at most bars, cafes and restaurants in the area. There is also good 4G and recently 5G coverage here so most phones should have good internet access.

You will find yourself immersed in rural tranquility, but with easy access to all that West Cork has to offer - the wonderful restaurants, local farmers markets, local crafts and galleries, glorious unspoiled beaches, great pubs, spectacular views, lovely walks for all abilities, excellent music, golf courses, water-sports, sea and river fishing….there is something for everyone! Please ask if you would like any specific advice, and we have a folder with suggestions available when you arrive at the cottage.
