This is a lovely studio apartment in the 11th, walking distance from place de la Bastille and in a very hip yet working class neighborhood of Paris. Better than a hotel room but not qjuite as spacious as a one bedroom apartment. There is a great market nearby and plenty of good bars and restaurants. Be prepared to carry your luggage up 3 flights of winding stairs (not unusual for Paris). Both the kitchen and bath are of a good size and the bed was quite comfortable.
Superb location, very quiet, great bed, bathroom and kitchen. Easy in and out, good communication. Highly reccommended
Great flat in the great area. Location could not be better from our point of view. Also good value for money. Paricularly liked plates and dishes and the kitchenware in general which is not often the case for us in short-term-rent flats.
Ludwig was flexible and easy to communicate with so was Remy who checked us in. Thumbs up!
This really was a perfect romantic pad in the city and all that my boyfriend and I could have hoped for. It was clean, well stocked (linens, toilet paper, dishes, etc), tastefully decorated, spacious, and with the most comfortable bed. This was my first experience with a heated towel rack and it made it such a cozy experience stepping out of the shower in the cold of winter. The location of the flat was also very central to the metro and Thalys so that was really convenient. I highly recommend.
We had a very nice stay in Prune's lovely little studio. It's located very close to Marche Aligre and Marche Richard Lenoir, our two favorite markets, as well as Le Baron Rouge, an excellent wine bar. Check in was smooth and easy, and the communication was fantastic.
The place is very nicely furnished and the bed is comfortable. However, if you are planning to cook, as we did, be forewarned that the kitchen is very tiny and only has two burners!
We chose Prune's apartment for our stay in Paris, as it was central but without being in the really tourist areas. This was our 3rd trip to Paris and this area was by far our favourite. The apartment was perfect for our stay, being very close to 2 metro stations, a stones throw from some great cafes (we loved cafe 138 over the road for coffee), patisseries, boulangeries (just outside the apartment!) and the most fantastic open air food market, selling fresh fruit and veg, cheeses and breads open 6/7. You really got an idea of what it would be like to live in Paris! There was also a handy supermarket just down the road. The area felt safe, despite some kind of demonstration happening on the street on the saturday! But there was a high police presence and it just made for an interesting spectacle! The apartment itself is small, but has all you'll need for a short break, and it is quiet, as it faces the courtyard rather than road. There was a bit of drunken noise on the saturday night in the early hours, but it didn't disturb us too much. Ludwig was very helpful showing us in, and telling us a bit about how to get around paris etc. All in all it was a great stay, we loved the area and would stay here again.
We had a great stay at Prune's place. It was well equipped, clean, in a great location, and just as we expected. Connecting with the host for the keys was an easy process and he was very helpful. We would definitely stay there again if our travels bring us back to practice.
