  • I enjoyed staying here in this beautiful mansion. The rooms were huge and comfortable, and for most of the time I was here, I felt like I had the whole place to myself. Great views from the rooftop balcony. The Pacific Heights location was perfect for my needs, and it is a short walk to shops and restaurants on Fillmore St. There are also bus stops nearby, so getting around the city was easy (grab the "Muni" app for your smartphone). The house is rather musty-smelling, and the walls between rooms are thin (as I discovered on the last night when a family with small children arrived). Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Also, be aware that the Airbnb price you see listed is not what you'll end up paying. This place is managed by S.F. Holiday Rentals and they add taxes and fees that will inflate the price considerably. Even so, if you compare what you get here to similarly-priced hotel options in the area, I think this is a good deal.

  • Beautiful home, ample accommodations and very friendly owner who is on site which was helpful in navigating a new/older home. We would run into her very infrequently but I never felt uncomfortable, even with our children there. Excellent location close to public transportation with gorgeous views. We rented the entire house with another family for a joint vacation, but it's very much like a bed and breakfast feel. Loved having a full kitchen at our disposal. Air bnb was wonderful to work with and answered all our questions in a very timely fashion. Would definitely recommend!

  • Bette's place has been my favorite air bnb stay so far. The place was really nice and unique with great facilities. The hosts could not have been more accommodating, I really wanted to extend my stay there but unfortunately it was already booked them dates.

  • Propre, bien localisé.
Bruit de la rue parfois dérangeant le matin.
    Un accueil facile à l'arrivée.
    Bien satisfait dans l'ensemble.

  • Rented this place for my parent's visit to Pacifica. They enjoyed their stay at the apartment--it was clean, put together, and just as described. Overall, it was very comfortable for them and they would stay there again. The apartment is nearly right on the beach and within walking distance to a few different stores. Great place for a visit to SF Bay Area.

  • We attended at family wedding around the corner at the Flood House Mansion, so the location could not have been better. The "house" is very impressive, to include the furnishings. It had the feel of a museum, or art gallery. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

  • Nice apartment, very clean, good location. Only downside is the 53 stairs up to apartment, tough with luggage. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Had a great stay. Annette was professional and quick to respond to my questions. And when my original request was not available, she found another option. Very helpful! The house was beautiful and well furnished. Everything was as described, and although I didn't see the hosts much at all, they seemed like very nice people. Overall, a very good stay!

  • We had a wonderful time at Gino’s Cozy Getaway. We stayed for a long weekend over Mother’s Day. The studio was very clean and felt safe. There is a fairly large closet and shelving units for clothing and shelving in bathroom for all your products. Just a shower, no bathtub. We enjoyed people-watching from our windows. It was a bit noisy if you are not used to the city. We had a white noise machine and were so tired from our excursions that it wasn’t a problem. The windows seem new and when closed, block out a lot of noise. You exit and enter through a restaurant alley called Belden Place. Very unique and we had dinner at B44 one evening. We were there to visit our son, and when he arrived every morning there is a doorbell and camera at the back door. All you have to do is press the “unlock” button and they can enter through the locked door. That is a nice feature. Close to all kinds of transportation. We were shown the apartment by Pat and met Mario a day or two later. Very nice people.

Cons: Lots of steps. Loveseat/sofa bed is more like a fold out foam chair-bed. But we weren’t in the room that much.

We had a great time and would stay there again!
