Welcome to Nashville!! We are two females in our late 20s that live in the heart of East Nashville. We are very flexible, laid back gals who enjoy craft beers and vinyls.
We have a private apartment in our finished basement that has a separate entrance through a screened in back porch and a large full acre fenced-in backyard. This is very ideal if you have a pet or would like to camp. Since it is a basement apartment the ceilings are a little lower.
The basement apartment has its own full bath, washer/dryer, refridgerator, tv with cable, internet, and a full size bed. If you have more than 2 people we have a cot, crash pad, and a futon with plenty of floor space to fit a large number of people if you are a band passing through town.
The neighborhood is very quiet with ample parking on the street. There is a bus stop about a half mile from the house if you would like to use public transportation.
There is a start up farm on the property called Wild Roots Farm. So if you stay you will be able to see fresh berry plants and many different types of herbs all along the property.
We look forward to meeting you and welcome you to our home!
I have a full time job and I own my own business so I am not home very much, but I am always available through email, text, or call. If you would like to meet and chat just let me know I would love to meet everyone that passes through. Since it is a separate entrance to the apartment, I am not usually there at check in but if you have any questions just let me know and I will be there.
East Nashville is amazing! It has been featured in many magazines, televisions shows, and articles. My street is quiet but only a mile from some cool eclectic shops and restaurants. Every month there is something new and awesome that pops up in East Nashville. The house is located 5 minutes from the trendy 5 Points area in East Nashville, 3-5 minutes from Shelby Park with 9 mile Greenway and golf course, 10 minutes from the Grand Ole Opry/Opry Mills Outlet, 5-7 minutes from LP Field, and 10 minutes from downtown.
Also you can check out all the areas of Nashville on with The Nashville Guru. Just put in Nashville Guru on your search site and his website should come up.
This has the best happy hours, restaurants, events, music spots, shops, and overview of all the areas in Nashville.
There is a bus stop 1/2 mile from my house. You can look up all the bus routes on this website (website hidden). There is also public bike rentals in the 5 points area of East Nashville which is only 3 miles from my house.

Allie was very quick to respond. Although we did not meet in person, the stay worked well for our trip.
The space was just as described. Allie gives you lots of privacy, but is available if you need her. The porch is really nice and it's great to find a place that allows pups.
Our stay was perfect. It was only one night, but it was exactly what we needed. Communication was excellent. We would definitely stay with Allie again.
We didn't cross paths with our hosts while we were there, but had very clear communication with them prior to our stay; the logistics were handled with ease. This house was a good match for us because it is very private, given the rear, basement entry and large space cut off from the rest of the house. The bed was just okay, but everything else met expectations. Note: the basement has low ceilings, so folks over 5'10" or so will need to mind their heads.
Great proximity to downtown and the east side. I would recommend this host to others, and would definitely stay there again.
My husband, dogs, and I stopped in to Nashville for the evening on our cross country trip. The space was just as advertised. The neighborhood was quiet and the space had plenty of room for us. The fenced in yard was a HUGE plus.
I didn't meet Allie in person, but the place was lovely and very close to fun things in East Nashville. Thank you for a cozy place to crash!
We were stopping through Nashville for a night and this place was the perfect stopover! It's cozy and private, and Allie was very helpful!
Communicating and checking in with Allie was very easy. I appreciated the versatile set up with 2 beds, a futon, couch, and chairs. She kindly provided a basket of toiletries in the bathroom for people that forget theirs - what a nice touch! I especially appreciated her very thoughtful restaurant recommendations that led us to an awesome dinner at The Treehouse. The only thing that could be improved upon was instructions on how to fold down the futon, since we couldn't figure it out. I would definitely stay here again.
Allie has great little apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. It's a little ways out of town but if you have a car then it's well worth the drive as the space is really cute. Allie was quick to respond to all my questions and checking in was super simple. I'll happily stay there again next time i'm on town.
We never met the host but she left the key out for us so we were able to get in when we arrived. We really enjoyed the location of this property and being able to have our own space. East Nashville is amazing! So many fantastic spots to eat and so close to everything we wanted to do. Easy street parking on the property, beautiful backyard. Do note that this is a basement apartment, so if you are any taller than 5'11" you will hit your head on the ceiling or have to bend over the whole time. Bed is average. Nice to have a refrigerator, etc. Cleanliness I would give more of 3 star... but it was an inexpensive place to stay so you get what you pay for :)
