Description

The Space

Unlike every apartment in NYC, your room, and the apartment are huge. Your room (19'x17') features two windows, a queen sized bed, couch and ample closet space.

We're a 5 minute walk from the G train (Union Square in 20 minutes) and a 10 minute walk to the M train (SoHo in 20 minutes).

Our neighborhood straddles the South Williamsburg/Bed-Stuy border. While the neighborhood is predominantly Hasidic and unfortunately shuts down sundown Friday to sundown Saturday some of the world famous pizza Brooklyn is known for is open late and delivers to our place. We're not so far of a walk to the "hip" areas of Williamsburg or the better parts of Clinton Hill/Fort Greene.

In regards to safety, my partner and I haven't had any issues while living here. Our upstairs neighbors are both women, and when asked, they seem pretty okay with the area (one is the daughter of a cop if that makes any difference).

For all you yogis out there, you can pick up the B48 bus (a few feet from our apartment) and take it to a block away from the Yoga To the People studio. They have donation based Vinyasa yoga classes and $8 Bikram yoga classes.

We provide sheets, comforter (if its cold) and towels.

We do have a small dog, Bruno, who's too lazy to bark, and while friendly is kept out of your room.

Freddy and I are respectful of our guests as much as possible. If that means you want to chat about the area and get the low down on NYC, we're happy to hang out; but if you want to do your own thing and keep to yourself we'll give ya all the space you need.

Interaction with Guests

Freddy and I are respectful of our guests as much as possible. If that means you want to chat about the area and get the low down on NYC, we're happy to hang out; but if you want to do your own thing and keep to yourself we'll give ya all the space you need.

Getting Around

We're a 5 minute walk from the G train stop and about a 7 minute walk from the J/M train stop. Additionally, there's a bus stop right outside our building that will take you into the heart of Williamsburg in 10 minutes.

Other Things to Note

As we're in the space as well we appreciate when guests have a fleshed out profile and let us know about their trip to NYC. We want to make sure we're a good fit so everyone enjoys their stay :-)

In a word, we're awesome! I'm a graphic designer (the red head in the picture) and my partner (the one licking the ice cream) is a nurse and we live in a sweet apartment in Brooklyn with our amazingly not smart pup, Bruno.

We've been around the world together and are always looking forward to our next trip.

We've lived in New York City for the past 11 years (7 of those years we've lived together), but haven't lived here long enough to be jaded assholes.

Freddy's from Argentina, so if habla espanol is a necessity, we got ya covered.
