We enjoyed staying with Abraham’s family!
First of all, his hospitality was really good, so that we felt as if we stayed in our own home. He informed us about delicious & cheap local food and local bakery, and took us local market. We could get everywhere on foot! It takes just 5minutes!
His wife is also very kind and their daughter is really cute and smile baby! Her smile made us happy!
The house is filled with good sense of his & his wife’s creativity!
We love that! Especially, rooftop is really awesome so that we could enjoy the nice sunshine in the morning and see many stars at night.
The room is also nice&comfortable, so we could sleep well.
Wifi is as strong as we had no stress to access any website, even when we uploaded some pictures.
The location is very safe area and really convenient to access major tourist spot. we could get to Catedral and other historical spot on foot. It takes just about 15~20minutes on foot. It is also convenient to access airport by subway. it takes just 5~10minutes to get to the nearest subway station on foot.
Thanks to Abraham’s family, we really enjoyed Mexico city peacefully!
We recommend to stay in Abraham’s house when you visit Mexico city.
Nowhere is better than this house in Mexico city.
Abraham's oasis is a warm community for the Mexico city bound. The location is walking distance to the Hidalgo metro, alameda and calle reforma. There are great food vendors in the neighborhood! Try to find the gentleman that sells arroz con leche and tamales de mole. During my stay, the house was full of travelers, coming and going. I think Abraham stated 10 other people in total! Thus it can become a tad noisy, especially if your room is sharing the window with the outdoor terrace. If you tend to be a light sleeper, bring some ear plugs and you should be fine.
The oasis is a comfortable, enchanting and a good place to stay. It's clear that Abraham puts lots of thought and energy into creating the oasis.
Abraham, Paki and the little Aitana are fabulous. They were fantastic hosts and made you feel really welcomed and at home! Also, the neighborhood was good. You get a great local vibe and experience. I would highly recommend!
Thanks again for a wonderful stay!
Highly recommended. Great place to stay. I so enjoyed the time I spent in Abraham's house.
Great place for a long stay. Especially if you are are doing a creative project; lots of like minded people and a fun inspirational environment.
I stayed almost a month at Abrahams place. The house is lovely - especially the rooftop terrace with the hammock - and a great place to meet other people. Rooms are clean and cozy. Abraham was not there but always responded quickly to any questions via email. He was very helpfull, friendly and took good care of me.
The neighborhood has a bad reputation, but I never felt unsafe there. I walked the streets at every day- and nighttime and was fine. The place is in easy walking distance to the historic center and about half an hour by metro from the hipper areas like Condesa or Roma.
Really enjoyed my stay and would come back.
Enjoyed staying at this place. Very good price for being so closely located from both historic center (el Zocalo) and business aria (Reforma). Very friendly host. My next visit i am thinking to stay at this place too.
Abraham was not there when my boyfriend and I stayed, but his father and his father's wife (and their super great dog) were there, and were very helpful and kind. The room was nice, and the little sitting area on the roof is so lovely. We got to know some of the other people staying in the bnb out there, who were all interesting, fun folks. The neighborhood is definitely not a touristy spot, but it's well within walking distance of the Centro Historico, and if you have good shoes, you can walk down to Rosa or Roma, too. Very close to the subway.
