Abraham was really nice and helpful. Everytime we shared a problem or a wish he did everything to help us.
The neighborhood is really save and you can walk to the city and drive to the airport with the metro in 15 minutes.
There is a nearby backery and little grocery stores.
We slept quite good since it is really quite.
If the house is full you'll have to wait in the morning for the shower but even then abraham offered us to take the showers upstairs.
I would recommend this place everytime!
Thanks again Abraham!
We had a great, one night stay with Abraham. The house and room was absolutely lovely; clean and nicely decorated. The area felt safe, with lots of great places to eat. Highly recommend.
Abraham was an extremely gracious host and the apartment is very charming. As the neighborhood is a very local one, the streets are fairly quiet at night and I never had any issues with safety. I loved being so close to the Metro stop and a reasonable stroll away from the historical center. Great casual eateries within walking distance as well!
-La casa está muy bien situada, limpia y la decoración es muy bonita.
-Abraham fue muy atento en todo momento; Nos encantó hablar con él.
Gracias Abraham :)
Abraham is a wonderful host. We had a fun girlfriends' trip visiting Mexico City. He made us feel like we have a cousin in Mexico City, and he was always there to help. He gave us great suggestions for restaurants and place to visit. He arranged a nice tour for us to visit the pyramids, and he helped us to arrange secure and reasonable taxi rides. His family are kind and welcoming. His place is spacious and comfortable, with three different levels, and several accessible bathrooms in all levels. We felt at home at his house. The neighborhood is a humble Mexican neighborhood. The locals are very kind and cheerful. There's a cheap but delicious local taco joint and a goat meat (birria) restaurant side by side are a few minutes' walk from the house. Don't miss the goat meat soup! It is delicious. The fresh juice stands by the Hidalgo metro station are our favorite too.
The city center (Zocalo) is a pleasant 15 minutes walk away or only one stop away from the blue line at the Metro station a few minutes from the house. On the way to the city center, a recently renovated city park (Alameda Central) is a safe place to walk past by, with several policemen patrolling each evening.
In the city center, the Palacio de Bellas Artes is one of the most amazing museums we have ever seen. And be sure to see a performance of Ballet Folklórico de México hosted in its amazing auditorium.
