  • We really enjoyed staying at this place in Florence! It is located in the Central part of the city - everything is really close by. It was a beautiful Florence experience! The owner is very nice and the apartment is very luxury and clean. It was a pleasure to be there. Can't wait to come back! Thank you so much Ilaria and Francesca!!!

  • Perfect location in the heart of the historical centre. All main attractions within walking distance. Plenty of good restaurants near by. A really accommodating host. The loft is perfect for a family of 4.

  • Perfect !

  • The flat could not be in a better location. It was clean, spacious, modern and well equipped. Upstairs bedroom is a loft with a low ceiling which requires care if you are tall. We were provided with a list of local restaurants and shops which was helpful. We were met at the bus station by the host and he walked us to the flat and explained how everything worked inside. We had absolutely no complaints. I wish we could've stayed longer.

  • Loved this apartment. Was in a perfect location, nice and close to the train station and we were able to walk everywhere.

The host was very helpful and check in and out was perfect.

It is on the 4th floor so kept us nice and fit!!

We will be back next time we are in Florence!

  • Wonderful modern accommodation in a fantastic location - impossibly close to the wonderful heart of Florence; literally a stone's throw from the great cathedral. Illaria and her family helped guide us to this historically central location and were very accessible and helpful. The three flights of stairs are manageable and mean you can have an extra gelati every day! There is so much to see and do in Florence and this is a great place to do it from.

  • We were met in the Piazza outside the apartment by Llaria's sister who kindly showed us around tthe apartment[on 4 th floor] explaining how items worked etc. The apartment was absolutely beautiful.Decorated to a high standard it contained 2 comfortable beds a pullout couch plus a most reliable wahing machine and dish washer. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of space. But what set this place apart from others was the view of the Duomo and the surrounding roof tops. Sitting here with all the windows opened listening to the local sounds was marvellous. All major sites were within 10 minute walkplus there were heaps of great eating places virtually outside the door. The only complaint we had was not about the apartment but the people empting the rubbish in the street around 5am each day. Apart from that small annoyance we had an absolutely great time in this apartment and Florence itself.

  • I stayed with a group of six people for three days, and we really could not have asked for a better living situation. The location was ideal (you can see the duomo from the window!).

Andrea met us at the train station where he proceeded to walk us to the apartment (it was only a few minute walk). Andrea was incredibly kind and helpful in showing us where we should go.

The apartment itself was exactly as I imagined it to be. A huge plus is how stocked the kitchen is.

For the six of us, we had four twin beds and one sofa bed to fit two. It was very comfortable for all of us.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone.

  • This place is AWESOME!!! Huge top floor apartment right in the middle of everything. Very clean and organized. Great views of the street from the windows. Easy walking access to everything. Very quiet at night. Did not hear any street noise while sleeping.

We didn't get a chance to meet with Ilaria, but we met with her brother in-law Andrea who was very nice and helpful. He gave us a wonderful tour of the apartment and made the checkin and checkout process very painless. Andrea was also very helpful in setting us up with a private day tour outside the city. Great experience.

We highly recommend this place and plan to stay here again on our next trip to Florence.

  • Had a very good stay in Florence at this apartment. Andrea was very nice and greeted us and explained how everything worked and where all the local conveniences are. The apartment is in a great location and has everything you need for a good stay (fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, etc.

We had three people in the apartment which worked well. There isn't much privacy as one bedroom is in the main room, and the others is on a gallery up some stairs so not necessarily recommended for couples! Also, the apartment is on the fourth floor with no lift so you have to be in good shape to get up and down!

Overall, highly recommended and excellent hosts so grazie!

About
I moved to Florence several years ago for love, and I think this is reflecting in what I do in my work and in life. I'm an art journalist and write about art and cultural tourism. I'm very glad that my job keeps me in touch with what I love most about my country. As a result of a familiar passion, I like Italian - but not only Italian - cusine, and wine, one of the most intense expression of the extraordinary Tuscan landscape. I love to travel, and I believe that there are many ways of being travelers and tourists: the only important think is to live an authentic experience. I hope my hospitality will be part of it.
