Overall Guest Satisfaction
Check In
  • When I first arrived at the apartment I was a little sceptical; the rooms were stuffy and the bathrooms a bit dirty, however as I got used to the place the people staying there made up for it.
When you first visit the neighbourhood you will be a bit scared but it is actually fine even at night overall I'd give this place a 6.5/10

  • Very friendly guy! I got a room to myself.

  • Absolutely great price for the location, staying so close to Williamsburg was brilliant and it was very easy to get into Manhattan. It was a little difficult to get in touch with the hosts via email and phone leading up to our arrival date but we managed to sort things out.

  • I had mistaken the date of checking in and the unit I booked was full upon arrival. Nonethelesss, hosts were really nice, and they allowed me to stay without surcharge. They also settled the cab and everything and I really appreciate it.

Overall they have clean bed and no bugs. It's a good option if you are on a tight budget. Check the train schedule clearly, as there are non-operative train lines during the weekend (memorial days).

  • For the price, this hostel was worth it. My upper bunk bed was tilted at a dangerous angle, but everyone living there was friendly enough. The hostel was very crowded and there were no shower towels for guests. There was some confusion about who is in charge of where I sleep, but the guy in charge always ended up being able to communicate over the phone for questions. Once he found out that I needed my key, he drove to the place and left it in a spot where I picked it up later that night. I appreciated that very much. Also, it is a very LONG two blocks to the J line. Not my best airbnb experience, but all in all definitely worth it for the price of staying in Brooklyn close to Manhatten!

  • Nice folks around here, there is a lot of people in the appartment but still they manage to keep it pretty quiet. Plus, the price is quite low, which is definitively a good point.

  • I stayed at the hostel for 3 nights. If you are a traveler and looking for a place to crash for a couple of nights it's perfect - just a few minutes from subway. Hosts are extremely nice and always willing to help! I didn't have any problems on the neighborhood, even arriving late from downtown.

  • Good for a few days in NY. In order to visit the big apple.

  • The host was nice. He told me whatever I needed. Besides, a good point is cheep price!

  • Extremely friendly staff willing to help you out with any questions you have. Location is good, less than 10 minute walk to the subway which takes you directly to Manhattan. Very homey vibe. Big kitchen to make all your meals, and a supermarket close by. Hot showers. Rooms aren't overly clean but suffice.
    I would recommend staying here!
