This is a great spot- Danilo and his colleagues were very professional, responsive and friendly. The apartment is clean, the perfect size for two people, and in a location where you are both close to everything you'd want to see or visit in Florence without being overwhelmed by crowds of tourists everywhere. The best part was the terrace, where we could start a day with coffee and end it with wine, completely relaxed. Thank you, Danilo- we had a great time!
We were expecting staying at someone's home but this apartment belong to an agency. But it was ok with us... You have you're privacy, they neighborhood is perfect, really in the center and near everything. The agency makes you feel really comfortable but the apartment didn't had some basic things for cooking ( salt, oil, ...) Things that you expect if you're using airbnb... For the price I guess we were expecting more.
We were driving from Rome, and lost count of time, checked in the place at 7:30pm, and we were charged extra 30 euro for it (it was clearly listed in the description, so please be reminded of it). We checked in without problem, they were helpful. they even helped us to communicate with the public car park staff which was very good. the location is great, it's very central of florence.
BUT, when i booked the apartment, i had impression it was private owned, but it was actually owned by an agency, so that was a minus for us, i wanted something more personal and less business. what made me a bit disappointed and actually pissed is that the bed is not clean, it had some kind of bed bug that left RED SWOLLEN SPOTS on my hand for 2 weeks. i know it's bug not mosquito cause it happened to me before. they didn't use duvet cover, only a "clean" sheet underneath the duvet...it was surprisingly disgusting.
This comfortable and cheery apartment in the Santa Croce neighborhood is in a fantastic location, with a great patio overlooking a charming courtyard. We had an extremely positive experience from start to finish, thanks to the responsiveness and professionalism of Danilo and his colleagues.
The apartment is on a quiet street less than one block from the beautiful Santa Croce church, with wonderful restaurants such as Fagiole nearby. We easily walked to the main sites in Florence from the apartment, which was a great home base for our stay.
The apartment is cozy, so we used the patio as the sitting area. The bathroom was well-appointed, with modern fixtures. We could hear our neighbors, but it was not a problem.
We appreciated the warm welcome and helpful information that we received upon arrival. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay and would highly recommend Danilo as a host to our friends and family!
Thank you Danilo. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with you and we fell in love with the apartment. From the first email, to our arrival and your help with our luggage and arranging a taxi to the train station we cannot fault your level of service and gracious nature. I had been dreaming of my trip to Florence for the last 21 years and our stay could not have been more perfect. It will remain a very special memory . The apartment was spotless and the bathroom was lovely (not shown on pictures). The bed was super comfy and I would like to know where you got the mattress from?! The masterpiece (amazing balcony), as Danilo called it, was an absolute joy. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and when we return to Florence we would seriously consider staying here again. Mille grazie Danilo.
We loved this apartment! Danilo was an incredible host, helping us with our bags, directions and local places to check out. The apartment was spotless, had everything we needed, and was perfect for 2 people. The patio is the real gem. Definitely recommend!
I loved Florence along with the this great apartment, it was in a great location and very clean and with the terrace it was just perfect. Check in was easy and also check out. Very accommodating. Would recommend.

I arrived in Florence from southern Italy (Salento) 11 years ago. After finishing University, I discovered my passion for hospitality when I decided to open Bed & Breakfast Leopoldo. I am a big fan of motorcycle racing (I have a Ducati Monster 620ie) and I love to spend time with friends. There is nothing I like more than to ensure that all of my guests feel right at home in Florence!
I know that you are going to spend some time in a new city, and I want to do as much as possible to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
